Everything about our stay was 5 stars. This is a resort that clearly has dedicated time to their processes and unseen service that goes above and beyond.
The property itself is grand, well kept, and perfectly atmospheric. The coatis scampering around and a lovely jungle setting truly feel like you're in another world. Each location, whether at the pool, on a path, or at the beach, has it's own carefully-curated vibe that delivers.
The pool is lovely. They've done a great job of separating the sound and DJ to one side of the pool - we could choose a quieter day or a rowdier day without needing to completely change pools!
There are so many different places to eat and drink. The restaurants are all STELLAR! We often had a wait, but we could put our names in and then get a drink at Don Miguel's - they'd radio the bar to let them know our table was ready. All of the food was excellent - when a guest at our hibachi table had a special dietary restriction, their attention to food safety was top notch.
Carlos, Israel, Oscar, Nora, Pablo, Sadie, EVERYONE on the entertainment staff was so incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They learn your name quickly and always get you involved.
If I could make one recommendation, it would be to add more mats around the pool bars and restrooms, perhaps even the pool steps. Every single day we saw people slip and fall - often multiple times. The floors are extremely slick.
We will absolutely return to Valentin.

Every little thing. The food, the pool, the staff, the lush surroundings and all the wildlife, I’ve literally never experienced anything like it! This was my 2nd trip and definitely not my last. I couldn’t recommend this place enough

服务和餐饮都非常出色。酒店一尘不染。我们唯一遇到的问题是，一开始我们住的房间有施工噪音，后来我们要求换房，酒店也帮我们换了。另外，房间非常自动化，但空调感应器似乎不太灵敏。除此之外，一切都堪称完美。食物很棒，而且我们每次都能顺利找到座位。酒店每天晚上会关闭一家餐厅，所以入住期间最好提前了解一下哪些餐厅会关闭。我们也很喜欢提供特色饮品的钢琴酒吧，但遗憾的是钢琴严重跑调，听起来就像西部片里廉价小酒馆里的琴声。考虑到钢琴师水平很高，这真的挺可惜的。总的来说，我们还会再来，而且很有可能会再来。
我们这次入住体验很棒，这点我不得不承认。但也有一些令人失望的地方。我是一个特别喜欢游泳池的人，看到网上照片里那个绝美的泳池时，我激动坏了，心想着一定要去游个痛快。我是在1月1日至1月7日这一周入住的，每天气温都在75华氏度左右，相当暖和。**然而**，泳池的水简直是**冰冷刺骨**，我在里面都冷得发抖，感觉像在洗**冰桶浴**一样！这让我一点都享受不起来，而且这家酒店比较僻静，又是一价全包制，白天除了泳池和沙滩（海滩的水是暖和的）之外，几乎没有其他娱乐活动。这真的太让人失望了。我打电话给前台，问他们能不能想办法解决，但他们说泳池没有加热器/温度调节器。我们这次旅行总共花了大约四千美元，说实话，我们只享受了一次泳池。我的下一个抱怨是关于沙滩的。我们去沙滩的时候，那里已经非常拥挤了。有一天，所有的沙滩椅都满了，而且有两个酒店的沙滩小屋被一些街头小贩占用了，这在原本就挤满了人的沙滩区域又少了两个供客人使用的位置。这些人**不是**酒店的工作人员，他们就是那些四处推销雪茄等商品的小贩。我看到工作人员多次从他们身边经过，却一言不发，而**真正的客人**却在沙滩上找不到地方休息。这非常令人失望，因为这些人大声喧哗，盯着客人看，而且当人们走来走去寻找沙滩椅时，他们也丝毫没有挪动。除此之外，我承认食物很棒，工作人员非常友善，酒店的设施**无可挑剔**，房间也很不错，其他的一切都相当令人满意。但出于上述原因，我不会再入住这家一价全包酒店了，尽管你仍然可以充分利用这里的一切，并拥有一次愉快的整体体验。如果你去的主要目的不是享受泳池和沙滩，我还是会推荐入住的。
