Beautiful relaxing property with fabulous safari rides! Our guide -Daniel has such impressive knowledge & is so kind to be sure we are safe & comfortable! The food is amazing! John made sure we had our food orders correct and Robert & Titus took care of us at the bar! Keen & Derrick were always welcoming each day after our rides & Esther offered warm towels to freshen up! Loved them all! Just wondering when we can return. We’ll request Daniel again! His respect of nature was fantastic!

From the moment we arrived at Lewa Safari Camp, we were warmly welcomed by the entire team, including Natasha, our attentive butler, and Lydia, who took wonderful care of our tent throughout our stay. The initial briefing about the conservancy was informative and set the tone for an enriching experience. We had the pleasure of being guided by Daniel, our driver-guide, whose expertise and deep knowledge of the region made every game drive feel purposeful and engaging. We trusted him completely to lead the way, and his instincts did not disappoint. Having him all to ourselves for most of our stay made the experience feel incredibly personal. Daniel’s insights added so much depth to our understanding of the wildlife and the ecosystem—we learned more than we ever expected. Thanks to his guidance, we were fortunate enough to spot all of the Big Five, including a rare and thrilling leopard sighting. It was a highlight we’ll never forget. Back at camp, the service and cuisine were exceptional. Every member of the staff was courteous, thoughtful, and genuinely accommodating. They went above and beyond to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary with a heartfelt song and a delicious cake—such a special touch that made us feel truly seen and appreciated. The property itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and a tent that struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Even for someone like me, who’s not naturally drawn to camping, the amenities made the experience thoroughly enjoyable.

Having just experienced two fabulous days at Tortilis, a beautiful camp in Amboseli, Lewa Safari Camp was going to have “big shoes” to fill. And they did not disappoint! Linda – with her spectacular smile – and Collins and their amazing team greeted us like family when we arrived, and their kindness and hospitality continued throughout our stay. Our rooms (tents) were beautifully appointed, well-provisioned and charming, with gorgeous views. I got a kick out of the reticulated giraffe pattern around the pool, where we had lunch. (I sent a picture of myself in the pool to my swimming instructor back home to show her how “hard” I was working.) Head waiter Dominic and server Maxwel were ever-cheerful and attentive, and Chef Masoudi came out each time at lunch and dinner to greet us, obviously passionate about his creations. The food was wonderful. Being served dinner at a table in front of the fireplace was so beautiful and cozy, followed up by a hot water bottle tucked into our bed back in our rooms.
