Great localion, was fortunate to be away from everyone else surrounded by wallabies and birds, good facilities would definately stay again if in the area. Close to beaches, national parks and other activities. Very friendly staff and quiet location,

We stayed over the Australia Day long weekend and had a great time with our kids. It is a shame that the wombats are no longer wandering as it would have been great to spot some! The kids had a good time searching for crabs on the waterfront, as well as spotting wallabies in the park. The facilities were clean and the outdoor pool was a great extra! Barbara was wonderful - very attentive and responsive (especially when she saved the day when I forgot to pack coffee!) Would consider staying again if we were in the area.

We would love to think that they will come back again but it will take time. We do however have a family of Tasmanian Devils using the old wombat burrows at present. The park is very large and very peaceful with a beach close by and a lovely pool. Sadly during hot weather there are many flies but on other cooler days it was fine. The wildlife coming out at night never tires of being magical. Barbara goes above and beyond with customer service and clearly loves taking care of the site and her guests. It is well maintained and the amenities are very clean. We were a bit surprised to pay $1 for a 5 min shower however we appreciate the need to save water AND it was worth every cent. Fabulous hot power shower. My wife had a slight mishap and reported it to Barbara who listened to suggestions from my wife, took them on board and made changes in the best interests of her guests. For the first time in using a camp washing machine (many of which we have used) our clothes came out clean and smelling lovely. If you want to find a quiet tranquil place to recharge I would strongly recommend letting Barbara and Bob take care of you.

酒店回复: Morning Jason, Thank you for your very kind comments about our service to our guests as well as our park & facilities which as you say is large & gives everyone space & room for all the wildlife to roam. We found the need 20 years ago, our first summer, to do something to save water, so first came the shower timer, & when the kids worked out that there was only 2 minutes between each shower, the water wastage continued, so then came the coins operated shower. $1 for 5 minutes 20 years ago & never looked like changing it. It was all about saving water wastage. Had a lady check in yesterday, now a mum with 2 grown daughters who used to come here as a girl & she was telling stories of how as kids they would stay in the shower for hours. There is the reason. We visited the Kelso caravan park recently after a tragic bereavement in our family. We were greeted warmly by Barbara on arrival and she was very understanding of our situation and very kind. We set up on an unpowered site in a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by wildlife which is what I needed. The first couple of days I had fine weather then came the rain. We got flooded out, and the owners were sooo good, came and helped us pack up, pulled our van to a higher site and relocated us to a lovely cabin. Didn't charge us for the time spent on the unpowered site and discounted the cabin stay for us as well. We couldn't fault the service, help, care and compassion afforded to us during this time, as no-one can help was the weather does! We love this park and will visit again soon to spend time in our lil Jpod with the wildlife. Thanks to Barbara and Tim for everything you did for us to make our stay comfortable and to easy the stress on us during this sad time in our lives. Very caring people. Thank you once again. Only had two nights here which is such a pity as it’s a big quiet beautiful park. Plenty of space for everyone and for kids to play. Stayed in Cabin 3. Clean and welcoming and everything you need to have a comfy stay. Barbara was very friendly on arrival and departure and obviously takes pride in the park. I don’t know why we haven’t been before.

The park is very peaceful and tranquil, enjoyed walking along the shores and seeing all the wildlife out at night. We stayed here for 4 days and did day trips around the area. Cabin was clean and comfortable, the hosts were great. Thank you for an relaxing time

We spent 3 nights on an unpowered site. Absolutely loved it. Very peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. Barbara was welcoming and the amenities were clean and well cared for. Very well looked after park. Camp kitchen was very good. Had bbq's too. We just loved the serenity of this park, being able to relax, and be at one with nature. We will definitely return as this wasn't our first visit. Close to Greens Beach too where there's a shop if you need supplies. Thanks for the stay Barbara and Bob

Only stayed one night on an unpowered site. Check in was excellent. Even though I arrived 10 minutes after closing time I still got personal service. I was given a great recommendation about where to park up, out of the wind, and for the ease of getting to the amenities and kitchen blocks because I had a knee injury. Location is very good to see west Tamar region and not too far away from Launceston and Devonport. I would highly recommend a visit to the town of Deloraine, and definitely visit Seahorse World. There are good walks at West head and Greens beach is very nice too. Lovely caravan park, clean and well maintained, I had the swimming pool to myself, it has solar heating and was spotlessly clean.
