I decided to stay at this hotel because it is in a great area of Houston and I used to live close by. My family had stayed there previously years ago and had had a great experience. I was with my son and traveling long distance and wanted to show him the neighborhood in which he was born. BIG mistake. The property is run down and extremely dirty. The staff had a lot to be desired. I called the front desk for internet info then again for late checkout and no one answered. It also seemed to me that they may have had long term customers/ tenants staying there. All the paint in the main building was chipped, the carpets were dirty, the elevator was scary! I am in the hospitality business and understand the difficulties of the industry but the disrepair of this property for its location is baffling. Also, being a part of a national chain, I am surprised that nobody is overseeing this hotel.

Very dated and dirty rooms. I understand the price was $50 less then the holiday inn a few blocks away but i still expect clean. The pool was "broken" and the entire place as very dark at night, very unsafe. It does not meet la quinta standards in my opinion.

Needs a serious remodel you can only hide mold so much! The carpet needs to be replaced. Found needles by my car every morning. I just felt unsafe. I only stayed there because other family members couldn’t afford anything else.

The building needs a complete overhaul. All room doors have way to many scratches Breakfast has to be improved, the bagels where hard to eat. Coffe was bad I prevent you to stay away from this place until it gets improved You can heard the highway from the room and prevent from good sleeping

Staff were friendly and location was right. This hotel worked for what we needed (and what we paid) which was just a place to shower and lay our heads for the night. Hotel could definitely use lots of repairs/updating as it's outer appearance it rundown. However I would stay here again as the price was right and the room configuration worked well for all 6 of us. It was a room with a bed and the outer/main room with 2 beds.
