We did not expect much because it was about $85/night. However…when we opened the door, the room smelled like someone had lived there long term with 6 cats. There was no air circulating (the air conditioner DID work but it just made the stinky room air cold) and thankfully we had a fan with us. The smoke detector was missing. One bed frame had a metal piece sticking out far from the mattress but under the blanket edge so was not noticed until I hit my shin. The nightstand had outlets/USBs but they were so loose our plugs kept pulling out/falling out. This was the same with several wall outlets.
This was a last minute booking because of a family emergency, but was definitely not somewhere we’d choose again.

Great price and I can see why. The condition of the property needs a lot of work. Each room needs work in the bathrooms and in the fixtures they are using in the rooms themselves.
Management needs to upgrade the overall condition of this property. By just patching the needed fixtures together to allow the property to continue to be open is a shame.
I only slept in one of the two beds and that one needed to be changed. It sank considerably when laying on the mattress and you didn't have a choice as to where on the bed you were sleeping.
The staff was very polite and courteous, and the property was well stocked with snacks and other items for sale to the customers. The property was quiet even though you are next to an expressway.

The hotel needed to share batteries for the TV remote. From what I could tell, there was only one working remote and no extra batteries. The was an iron in my room but no ironing board and a coffee maker but no coffee pot. Which made the stay tepid at best.

First room smelled of stale smoke.. in a non smoking room. Went to switch rooms and got attitutde and excuses. Both rooms were old and had things broken. Never again

Cockroaches
I killed 5 cockroaches within a couple of minutes of being in the room and kept seeing more, I left right away and booked a different hotel I’m waiting to be refunded, this property used to be decent for a cheap stay but obviously they have let things get bad

Not good.
It was horrible. Room smelled so bad. Fire alarm went off when I turned the heater on cause it was full of dust. The workers were rude. Wouldn’t give us more than two towels for our whole stay. 3 pillows for a king bed wouldn’t give us more pillows. Door knob for bathroom was broken. I’m very disappointed and would like a refund or have my next stay be comped. It was awful and it ruined my weekend.
