Room was very nice and clean.Want to thank Rachel for helping me with reservations.Went to attend funeral for my brother.Was able to take my puppy.Hotel pet friendly.Very quiet.Only complaint is bar soap is terrible.HAD A GREAT STAY!!THANK YOU RACHEL.

I made a reservation here via booking,com for a road trip with my kiddos. I never received a confirmation from them or from *********** and their phone system told me that there was no reservation tied to my phone number. Plus, I couldn't actually speak to a live person at West End. So, I naturally assumed my reservation was lost and booked another place. After the fact, they charged me full price. When I reached out to *********** and they spoke directly with the management at West End, West End proceeded to tell me, via email, that it was all my fault, insinuated that I was lying and said not to use ***********, basically too bad, so sad.

A little like something out of The Shining. Very, very dated. Plus, the towel rack by the sink collapsed when I tried to pull off a towel; there was a coffee maker but no glass carafe; and no pictures on the wall, just the nails. Weird. Carpeting super old and gross. Definitely needs to be replaced. If you can go anywhere else in Pagosa, you probably should.

Stayed here for one night while passing through town. Had no problems. It is an older property, so worn carpets, etc. But everything was clean, room was well lit, check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Has a courtyard with chairs, grass, and a gazebo. There is a pool and hot tub I didn’t use. Breakfast was pretty basic, as in nothing hot, but was good enough — bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, muffins, yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeals, coffee and tea, apples, tangerines, and bananas.

Chosen because it was on our route. Good handicap parking and room access, with ADA toilet, grab bars and wheel-in shower. Beyond that, generally shabby. Owner was at desk and a touch crabby. Free breakfast, but scant. Poor sink lighting, so no shave for you.

Grumpy check in clerk. Was there an hour before check-in and they acted like it was a major hassle for them. Toilet seat in room was gross and broken. $20 could of fixed it. The complimentary breakfast ******. Very limited choices. Disappointing

I reserved a room through *********** for my sister because she had no service on her road trip. I specifically selected that I was booking this room for her and listed her name. When my sister checked in they made her pay for the room again. When I called to explain the situation the front desk guy was extremely rude and told me I didn’t check in…what??? I booked the room for my sister she even called and spoke with the red head guy at the front desk before she arrived and he assured her that everything was in order. The front desk guy working on the morning of the 26th threatened to call the cops on my sister when she inquired about getting our refund!!! Never again! Also false advertising they listed a room with a king, queen and a pullout. When they got there there was 2 queens that’s it.

This is an older property that could definitely use some updating. I feel they could do better with the breakfast selection. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Do be careful getting into the hot tub as there is no step and the seat is 3 feet from the edge.
