This TRU location put the emphasis on "pet-FRIENDLY" by gifting us a treat bag. A welcome gesture while transporting two cats from Texas to the Northeast! The rooms were quiet and clean. The front desk staff made sure we had adjoining rooms (thanks, Leah!). It's wonderful to have a quality option when traveling with furry friends! We will ALWAYS go with TRU when available.

Clean, Modern Hotel

This was our second stay in a Tru by Hilton Hotel. Like the first, this one is clean with a modern decor and feel.i especially appreciated the hard floor in the room instead of stained sticky carpet. Room was spacious and bathroom was up to date with a very nice shower. Bed was good and had plenty of pillows. Breakfast was fairly typical, but completely adequate. No complaints, so we'll add Tru to our list of trusted hotel brands.

Liked that we could bring in our own food and there was an area near the lobby to sit and enjoy it. As well, there were board games for us to use and the outdoor seating area is nice!

The first thing I noticed was everything you see when you arrive is geared towards making you feel welcome. This continued with checking in. Fast, friendly and helpful. The whole experience continued through the whole stay. We got several texts asking how we were enjoying our time and asking if we needed anything just ask. Small details that stand apart from others. Thank you for the great stay. We'll be back.

While the hotel was clean and beds and room comfortable the Operations Manager needs lessons on how you treat customers. Her screaming and know it all attitude about an incident at hotel was totally unprofessional. I answered her with anything due to her irrational behavior. I am trying to decide if a letter will be sent to corporate to let them know they have someone like her. Her behavior definitely impacted the stay.

We were very impressed by our stay at the Tru by Hilton in Staunton, Virginia. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The lobby/breakfast area was spacious and inviting with toys and games for children and young adults. Add to this the fact that coffee was offered 24 hours a day! My wife and I went online to find where other Tru by Hilton Motels are located to keep them in mind for future trips.
