Given the price and fact that it is primarily a motor lodge/motel, I'm rating the Adelaide Inn as Excellent. The rooms have been upgraded, especially the bathrooms. The hot tub and pool were in great shape. Parking is plentiful. We walked into downtown Paso and back for dinner each night, which is possible although a bit dark at spots. We also liked having a Starbucks next door. If you want a luxurious hotel, then this isn't probably the place. But, it you want a very affordable and clean motel, you won't go wrong here.

The stay was very good based on check-in, check-out and the room. However, our stay was almost ruined because we checked in a night. The steps to our room was in a not well lit place where before the steps was a high curbed without reflective paint or anything to recognize it. Hands and arms full with luggage I tripped over the curb and had quite a fall. Although able to avoid serious damage to my person, I did sprain my wrist and ankle because of the fall, which took several days to heal. The front desk was informed when we checked out.

It's a comfortable, relaxed feeling motel. They have wonderful Christmas lights up and the proximity of local wineries makes this a great location. They even have cookies every afternoon!
