I really enjoyed chatting with you and your wife throughout your 3 day stay, and had just started reading the detective novel she kindly left with me before leaving.I do not really understand your comments, and you didn't mention anything personally to me. We are a 15th century Renaissance château that the owner has lovingly restored over the last 30 years. It is true that he has mixed modern art with the antique furniture, so that is maybe what you are commenting on. All our other guests really like the works of art that our résidential artist has installed in the renaissance garden, as well as some of the salons.It is a shame you didn't mention something while you were here as the owner would have loved to explain the history behind some of the works of art.However, I hope you had a safe trip back home and please pass on my best regards to your charming wife.
