Excellent reception experience. The young lady was so very helpful and caring. I am 75 and she was so patient. The only downside is £1.90 for soda water. Most pubs charge 0 or a nominal amount. This is a hotel and there was the service of the water but the profit margin must be enormous and I admit to feeling exploited. However room was very nice as was WiFi. I would recommend and stay again

Great hotel in a great location. Quietly situated within easy walking distance of both the train station and city centre this hotel also offers onsite parking.

Went for a gig at the Racecourse. Nice central location, easy paid parking. We were in Annexe. Little road noise but overall really happy with the stay. Would stay again.

Great hotel!
Stayed for one night for a girls weekend away to go to Chelmsford's Music Festival. Hotel was in a great location with parking. We had a spacious room with great amenities & a lovely lunch in the bar! Would definitely stay here again!!

我来这里是为了参加附近小镇的婚礼。酒店入住非常方便。由于我住的是独立于主楼的附属建筑，所以需要支付少量押金才能拿到房卡。押金可以用现金支付，但除此之外，酒店只接受刷卡。房间干净整洁，大小适中，淋浴设施也很棒。第二天我要去伦敦出差，酒店离火车站很近，非常方便。
我的入住体验非常糟糕。我选择这家酒店纯粹是因为价格便宜，但实际体验远低于预期。房间很新，装修也不错，但感觉像是在排屋里，墙壁薄得像纸一样，什么声音都能听得一清二楚。如果是情侣想享受二人世界，这里绝对不合适。房间很热，他们居然只配备了一台电风扇，现在都2025年了！我体重14英石（约140公斤），不算胖，但马桶空间太小，我根本没法舒服地坐在上面，而且洗手池也挡住了。你甚至得把水壶放在地上才能插电。感觉就像住在海边一家廉价民宿，我并不是说民宿不好，但这明明是一家三星级酒店啊！我绝对不会向任何人推荐这家酒店。
预订网站说酒店内有停车场，但除非仔细阅读条款细则，否则不会提到每晚7英镑的停车费。其他所有酒店都明确标明停车收费。
办理入住时，我感觉自己好像背着登山包而不是行李箱，只住了一晚，男接待员就用居高临下的语气看着我，还对我冷嘲热讽。这很令人失望，因为我其实是想考察一下附近有哪些酒店，看看是否适合公司员工住宿和培训。
他甚至问我是否知道酒店停车收费，这说明只有常客才知道这件事。
房间很小。浴室很危险，因为淋浴间离地面有两级台阶。台阶和地面都铺着光滑的仿木纹乙烯基材料。淋浴喷头堵塞了一半，漏水，根本洗不出冷水。水要么很烫，要么很烫。
床的两边都靠墙，另一边靠着我听过最响的吱吱作响的楼梯，我在酒店行业工作了30年，从未听过这么吵的楼梯。
窗户是上世纪40年代的老式金属框单层玻璃窗，根本不能开着，即使上了锁也不行，因为没有任何东西能阻止其他客人从窗户爬出去，绕过平屋顶的爬行板直接进入你的房间。
房间里唯一值得称道的就是吹风机、熨斗、迷你熨衣板和保险箱。
前台号称24小时服务，但我早上7点半退房，在前台等了8分钟都没人来。我从后门出去，才发现前台接待员正坐在外面喝咖啡。
绝对不会再入住，也不会推荐给任何人。
