Heartbreaking Stay. We Deserve Better. I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience really needs management’s attention. I really hope management reads this because no one should have to experience what we did.
We arrived at the Super 8 in Manhattan, KS around 10 PM after a long day on the road, tired, just wanting to rest. Instead, when we opened our room door, a whole family of roaches was there to “welcome” us. It was disgusting and absolutely unacceptable.
I immediately went to the front desk and spoke with a Spanish lady named Brandie to ask if there was a cleaner room available. At first, I was told there were no vacancies, and when I asked for a refund, suddenly another room upstairs was offered. Unfortunately, that room wasn’t much better. The desk and microwave had visible dirty streaks like someone had wiped them with a used dirty towel. By that point, we were too tired to go hotel-hunting so late at night, but it was very uncomfortable to stay there knowing how unsanitary the rooms were.
The breakfast looked okay, but I couldn’t bring myself to eat, thinking about the roaches we’d seen.
This experience was completely disappointing and unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the pest and cleanliness issues immediately. Guests deserve a clean, safe place to stay. This was far from it.

There were bed bugs and a heavily stained mattress. We were in the room for less than an hour when we noticed a bug near my 2 year olds head. We did not stay the night

Room was very dirty, bed headboard was dusty with dead bugs. Old coffee grounds in the coffee pot so that wasn’t cleaned. TV would go black randomly for about 10 seconds when watching a show.

There was cockroaches in my room and there was one dead and it looked like somebody just covered it with the trashcan and left it there

The sheets on one of the beds had a stain on them. The bathroom sick and tub are stained or just not cleaned very well. The toilet paper roll holder was missing. The staff was polite. However, I won't be staying there again.

The room was in poor condition. Hole in the shower stall where a washcloth rack had been. Someone had amatuerishly filled one of the holes.
Area of the headboard will literally filthy.
You had to nuke the biscuits at breakfast to make them edible. Really.
Room smelled like mold.

The bathroom was not at all clean, toilet paper holder broken, toilet way too low and rocks when you manage to get off, light switch broken on bedside lamp, beds very uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, upstairs neighbor very loud from 9 pm until we complained at 2 am, no alarm clock, no easy access to outlet near bed to charge phone. Never again will we stay here. Upon checking out, when asked how our stay was, staff just said they were sorry and they would have maintenance fix things.

The first room we checked in, had dirty laundry piled in the bathtub. The second room we checked in had feces, smell all over the toilet and plus was overall very dirty. It was like the room was not even cleaned. With a toddler this was unsafe. Had to move to a different hotel! Staff is never available!
