We visited this hotel as part of a wider tour of Rajasthan. It was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. Having stayed in Shapura House in Jaipur which is owned by the same Group we thought it would be equally good. It was awful so beware if you are booking a Shapura Hotel and Resorts Group. There is no consistent standard. The positives. It looks nice from the outside especially at night. There are lovely views from the entrance. Venture inside and it soon turns sour. The room was quite large. Dated furniture and is smelt. The bed linen was poor quality and smelt of the room. The bathroom was appalling. The sink was coming off the wall and the taps were coming away from the sink. Everything was rusting and all of the tiles and sanitary ware were tarnished and stained. Paint was peeing off the ceiling and walls. Thee is no Wi fi in the room. You have to go and stand at Reception to get a signal. Bear in mind that this is a ‘heritage hotel’ where a significant part of the hotel is open to the elements. In winter you will need a coat to stand at the reception in the evening. When morning came we braved ourselves for breakfast expecting something pretty bad. They did not disappoint. The tables were not laid no cutlery or crockery. There were 4 Indian dishes, a bowl of cut papaya and some watermelon juice on offer ***** with some bread and a toaster. We managed to get some hot water and some Nescafé sachets. One of the waiters did offer an omelette which we gratefully accepted. Or at breakfast we have had in India The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. As it stands it might work as a basic backpackers hostel or perhaps should best be left for the birds. There is a sense that everyone has given up trying to make the place work. Do not stay here there must be far better hotels in the town. Failing that sleep in the car!

Shahpura Kumbhalgarh Villa is really an amazing place to be. The rooms and service are good. The Kumbhalgarh fort visit and sound and light show after that was mind-blowing. I really loved my time over there. Special thanks to Vikram Singh Ji ( Manager) and Devi ( FnB association) for taking care of me and guiding me through the time of my stay at the resort.

The property's location is very nice. It is located between Club Mahindra and Lemon Tree. The surroundings are very serene and you can hear birds chirping the whole day. We had opted for Breakfast and it was very nice with good options. The staff of the property is very courteous and helpful with prompt service. Renovation is going on in the hotel. The only complaint was that the pool not very clean. All and all a wonderful experience at this place.

Staff was cooperative but overall service delivery is like 3 star.
Hotel furniture and equipments were old and renovation or replacement is required.
