住了两天无障碍房,宽敞,安静,感觉特别舒服。离纽卡斯尔大教堂和城堡都很近,还有高桥。交通便捷,会考虑再入住的。
虽然离火车站不太远,但也不太推荐,房间实在太小了。且走去酒店需要走一个大坡,拖着箱子就很难受。房间小得箱子都没法打开,只能铺在入门口处,放了箱子就不能出门了,😅😅😅而且床头柜都省略了,直接就是一个小格子代替。洗澡间也是转不开身,整个房间就很压抑。第二天就转去住福朋了,居然价格比他还便宜,当初不知为啥**。
卫生,周边环境都不错,知道英国酒店普遍较小,没想到这么小。房间不规整,斜三角,床的另一边走不过去。服务中规中矩。
位置好,离纽卡斯尔火车站走路10多分钟,离古堡和纽卡斯尔大教堂都不远,周边酒店饭店也挺多的,还是挺方便的。酒店前台热水免费,挺好的。
缺点是房间小,太小了,才11平米,和国内没法比,而且床才1.31,两个人睡挺挤的。
我们是参加孩子毕业典礼来住的,头一天房价300多,第二天竟然飙升到了1300多,而且是面积仅11平的逼仄的房间,无法想象。
因为入住后孩子行程有变动,和店家沟通取消第二天的行程,无论怎么沟通都不行,无奈孩子取消了和同学一起的活动,也是没谁了,能理解但是不好接受。
出门在外真的和国内没法比。
卫生和位置都还算可以的廉价连锁酒店,订的无窗房但因为在顶楼还有个小天窗,有电梯方便拖行李,进电梯需要刷房卡感觉比较安全。但是任何额外服务(如wifi、寄存行李)都要另外收费,看自己需求。
不过有一点我比较在意,入住酒店时前台要了一张信用卡拿去看,并不是为了授权押金,似乎只是看了看。虽然后来查到酒店政策是有说入住时要提供本人银行卡,但我觉得这还是会增加盗刷风险,毕竟所有信息都暴露给了别人。目前离店一周没有发生盗刷情况,但提醒要住这家店的其他朋友最好至少遮挡自己信用卡的安全码。
我能理解酒店缺少一些便利设施,比如房间里没有水壶、咖啡或茶包,也没有供等候的顾客使用的洗手间(但前台接待员有)。每当我男朋友在纽卡斯尔和我开商务会议时,他总是预订这家酒店,因为地理位置绝佳。但是好几次我都遇到了同样的问题,而且前台接待员的态度很不愉快。她叫Shahib,或者名字以“Sha”开头,我看不清楚。
但我们第一次踏入酒店时,没有受到欢迎,只看到她粗鲁地看着我。我走上前礼貌地问:“你好,我们来办理入住(当时是中午12点)。” 她说“好的”,然后问:“你预订了提前入住吗?” 我说“没有”。她就不再说话了,看着我的眼神好像在说:“如果你没有预订提前入住,那你来这里烦我干什么?” 我只好说:“好的,我知道了,下午3点入住。” 她本可以告诉我们“3点入住,所以你们需要等一下。”
然后我们坐在那里等,她和她的同事们大声说笑。我很不高兴,我男朋友进去要求取消预订,她说:“好的,如果你取消,还是要收费的。” 我男朋友很生气。然后我非常轻声地问:“我们等候的时候这里有供顾客使用的洗手间吗?” 她只说了“没有”,然后就没下文了。之后,她又让我们提前入住了,表现出老板和掌控整个纽卡斯尔的态度。
我本不打算把这件事放在心上,也不想写评论,但我们退房那天,我拿着钥匙,礼貌地走到前台,说:“你好,我想……” 她甚至没看我一眼,也没让我把话说完,只是看着她的手机大声说“谢谢”,就是为了让我放下钥匙赶紧走。我在这家酒店住了五次,五次都对这里的客户服务感到不愉快。这家酒店还不错,但对酒店行业来说,最简单也最优先的事情是顾客体验,而你们做得并不好,这让我的几次旅行都感到不舒服。我没有资格评判任何人的态度,但至少应该把工作做好。除此之外,酒店很干净整洁,床也真的很舒服。
Google地图定位的餐厅和酒吧都在码头边上,非常方便。
酒店员工特别友好,24小时随时提供帮助。
他们家的浴室很棒,干净整洁。虽然景观不太好,但价格很亲民,如果再去纽卡斯尔我肯定还会再订这家酒店。
酒店距离纽卡斯尔中央车站步行约12-15分钟,距离盖茨黑德千禧桥步行5分钟。房间有点小,但考虑到价格,这也是意料之中的。前台员工很友好。房间设施基本够用。唯一的问题是,酒店寄存行李每件收费5英镑。
酒店位置很好,靠近河边和市中心,是过夜的好地方。
