Location of the hotel was good. The bed was very comfortable with great lighting linens. However, the hotel could definitely use some updating and deep cleaning.
The door to our room had a good size piece of wood missing. It appeared someone had tried to open a locked door with some sort of toll and took a chunk out of the edge of the door. The door still closed and locked, but not a very good look.
My biggest disappointment was in the filthy carpet. I had taken off my shoes and wore only a pair of socks for most of the time in the room. I was shocked at how absolutely black my white socks were after walking on the carpet. It definitely needs a good cleaning or total replacement.

Right in the middle of everything. Shopping, dining, beach is close. Safe. Great looking property off the main road. Very accommodating staff. Clean

The couch was worn out and smelled. the carpet was dirty and so was the bathroom floor, I know because i wiped up the floors after a shower and the cloth was dirty and i had new white soks on and they got dirt from the carpet and bathroom floors

We checked in late and were greeted professionally and kindly by Tyler. He went out of his way to check on us throughout our stay. The breakfast was restocked as needed and convenient.

The outside door area where a condensation drain line was located was covered in wet cigarette butts. Pretty nasty looking. Also built up mildew in my shower and hair on the shower walls. Not very pleasant. Room 137 Pawleys Island.
