I’ve stayed at a lot of terrible hotels in the past (even in Third World countries) but this is probably the worst hotel I have ever experienced. The whole hotel is shady. I understand they were doing construction on the first floor, but the lack of communication, the people they had working on it, the sketchy security guard posted by the open door, the lack of general maintenance and filth, put this motel at the very bottom of any list. After a long day, we returned to the room to find that the water was shut off due to construction. They did not inform us until we got to our room. We were told it would be 30 minutes. 30 minutes later we were told it would be 45 minutes. An hour later we were told another 45 minutes. By this time it was after 10 o’clock and we had an early morning the next day. The manager was very argumentative and continued to lie about when the water would come back on. Thankfully, there was a Comfort Inn two blocks away with excellent accommodations - so we got out of there! Not only was this motel disgusting but the consistent lying dragged it on far too long. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again in my life.

What balony view? Did you mean the encampment in the parking lot. Or was it the dead roaches in the elevator?
