Check in was smooth. People at check in were very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and bed/pillows weren’t terrible. I wasn’t expecting the Hilton. The shower water was hot so I was happy. It is right next to downtown and is close to Snowbowl so we were happy. We would definitely stay there again for a short trip.

Although the building is very last century, the rooms are freshly painted and clean. Perhaps, with a little more attention to decorating, both the rooms and lobby would appear more appealing. I enjoyed the convenience of having a microwave & fridge in my room...The picture over the bed was not centered and a permanent stain on the bedspread, gave the room a shabby look. The heating and cooling system worked perfectly. If you are not fussy about outward appearances and can appreciate the fabulous location, this hotel is a fantastic bargain. I would definitely stay here, again, if I come back to Flagstaff!

We had a reservation through a third party, we arrived late in the evening, the manager could finally sort things out but was not friendly at all with us. Room was ok for a budget hotel. Breakfast was advertised but non existent, just coffee which was cold we just ran fast to the closest fast food restaurant for breakfast. Would not recommend unless they change staff.

You should look at pictures. Construction and finish featuring India style. The pictures show the fit and finish and overall quality of the room. More and more motels are going to this unique India style.

Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here (Downtown Roadway). You will regret it. It is not worth your money, Saturday was over $200. The rooms are small, the bed slopes in the middle, and there is no hair conditioner. You get 3 small square pillows, with creaking floors you are most likely, annoying the people below. Checked in, and went to my room 118, the room was so small, the king size bed took up all of the room. There was only 1.5 foot between the wall / door and the bed. On that wall was the TV, so you had to be careful not to hit it. When I was looking over the room there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom, just 2 shampoo and 1 bar of soap...ALL on the floor of the bathroom. The sink had no ledge that you could set anything on, and the shower soap holder was not constructed correctly, it tipped down, everything just rolled off of it. I called the front desk, asking for a conditioner, knowing I would need some for my shower in the AM. The front desk lady said there was none, the shampoo was both, I said it just says Shampoo on it not 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. I asked again for some conditioner, I need it. She said they don't have any. I've NEVER checked into a hotel with out conditioner. The lady was so rude about it too.

I stayed here on 8/26/17. I had just driven for ten hours, coming from Canyonlands National Park, on my way home, to Tucson, AZ. I was just simply too tired to drive anymore. I pulled into The Rodeway Inn/downtown Flagstaff, and was told the room would be 89.00 for a single bed room. I was just tired and hungry, so I paid and went to my room. 1. The room smelled. 2. The BEDSPREAD WAS BADLY STAINED!!!!! 3. The mounted television was not visible from the bed, but was around a "corner", making it impossible to watch unless you literally pulled up (the only) chair, a hard wooden chair. As tired as I was, this was really just TOO MUCH! When I went back to the front desk, to request a refund, the clerk called the "manager" in charge. I was told they could either give me a $20.00 refund, or, if I insisted on a full refund, they would charge me a $20.00 cancellation fee for the five minutes I had been in the room. The clerk had to even run up to the room to make sure I hadn't stolen the soap! So, as I said, I was dead on my feet, and had seen that the sheets had been clean, so I just accepted the $20.00 refund. I have called numerous times to complain about this to the Manager, and when I checked my bank statement, I saw that THEY HAD OVERCHARGED ME!!! $109.00 for that disgusting room, and although they did give me the $20.00 credit, all that did was bring my charge back to $89.00. As I said, I have tried numerous times to call any "manager" at their number, and no one was ever there, daytime or nighttime. And... you can guess it... I never received a return phone call. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT STAY HERE! Bad management, unresponsive to guests, dishonest charging, dirty, disgusting... I am going to fight this further, with their Corporate offices, but I just wanted to get this review out as soon as possible.

I don't like giving bad reviews. I try to find positive so that people don't think your just negative. The location was great. Walking distance around the historic area. In fact this location housed a hotel on Route 66 at this location, why they don't market that I have no clue. Another positive is the outlets in the room. There is plenty for all your charging needs. This is where it ends. The hotel needs renovation. Our toilet wouldn't flush. Thenshower didn't work. We needed to get a hold of management and the doors were locked and no number to call. We paid over $100 for this room which isn't worth it, the sheets seem to be clean but the room had a bad smell. All the ice machine and such are outside and damaged. It is right aciras from train and you do hear it. I can't blame them for that. There is not sufficient parking either. If there is an event theynused their back lot for paid parking. The rooms need major updating. They have refrigerator p, microwave and a table that serves no purpose. If you are a large person and stay in room 123 you will not be able to get to bathroom. There was a metal object near ceiling covered by plastic wrap, we laughed saying it looked like a camera. They tile in the shower was not sealed so now has soap scum and I believe is apart of their odor. They have two picture on the wall and they are the same, they are dark which added a gloomy feeling to the room since there is little light. There was a different odor that came through the a.c. If I were I charge I would start by getting thendated carpet up and out if there, then design the room to go along with Route 66 or the trains or Flagstaff heritage. This hotel needs help. The manager really needs to get with the owners and work with Rhodeway Inn to get this hotel some attention. Now if you don't consider any suggestion you must take care of two things: the toilet and the internet!

Room is very dirty, outdated and the refrigerator, shower and lock barely works. Very expensive for the quality. The front desk is neglectful and will not help you. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to, just don’t stay here. It is very loud and the walls re extremely thin so you can hear anyone’s conversation.

The staff is nice and very accommodating. However, this hotel is really run down!! No light bulb in the bedside sconce, cables hanging from the tv and walls, room so small the bed barely fits, bathroom so small can't open the door all the way. Fridge is nice and big, microwave seems new. Very expensive considering how yucky it was.

The hotel room was really dirty for starters, everything was filled with hair of who knows what. The pillow cases just looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time and everything was run down. We tried to talk to the person at the front desk about it but he just told us that the room was clean and that he had checked it himself, he said there was nothing he could do and that he couldn't give us a refund for the three nights. We left shortly after but this was just horrible.
