The hotel itself was warm and welcoming. I gave it five stars for numerous reasons that we're in their control. The area didn't feel safe, but that is beyond their control. The added gated security was a plus.
Things I want in hotel that deserved 5 stars..
1. Very comfortable bed and bedding.
2. Excellent water pressure in the shower.
3. I stayed 2 nights and all staff members were pleasant, informative and professional.
4. Even though the room showed some wear and tear, it was very clean.
5. The a/c worked perfect. Even though my room was near a gas station, outside noise was not a factor.
If you're a normal joe like me and looking for a good nights rest.I highly suggest this hotel.

Really appreciated the staff providing breakfast earlier than usual for triathletes and their families heading out for Ironman California--even after the electricity went out for a few hours in the middle of the night!

The heater was sufficient. It was a cold night. The front desk personnel awesome. I didn’t have the breakfast (slept late). Room nice and large. Clean. They provided extra towels. Hot water is hot 😁

I liked that it was close to downtown, but there is a lot of homeless people close by. They also advertise a hot tub and there is not one.

I just felt unsafe because I don’t know the area, there was people/ homeless walking Very close o the property and gas station we arrive late evening and left early morning 7pm to 4am staff was excellent rooms great and the walk from lobby to room was excellent clean and cozy. Thank you for the hospitality.
