I made a booking nearly 10 months in advance for a 3 night stay At The Ranges. 4 months before the booking I receive a call from the management that the room is no longer available due to the owner wanting to occupy full time. When I booked 10 months previous, there were a few rooms available, so I was certainly not the last to book. SURELY the bookings made after my booking should be the ones that are cancelled!!!! When I pointed this out to management it all seemed a bit too hard and I was the easy option. This certainly is not good hospitality and business practice. Beware that your booking could be bumped off at any time. Now the prices are 30% higher to get alternative accommodation and there is only very poor options left in Karratha.

This place feels like a rain forrest. We loved the way the gardens provided natural shade. The room had everything we needed and was really spacious.

Arrived just after checkin time reception was unattended, rang the number on the door. No issues. Loved the serenity of the place and walking through the meticulous gardens, very peaceful. The air-conditioning, TV and lights were turned on for your arrival. We encountered no issues with noise in the resort. - Plenty of facilities, BBQs, Pizza Ovens, there's a vending machine on site with all sorts of drinks and snacks. - The room had all you'd ever need and more. They supply a little shampoo & conditioner, body wash, soap and a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. - Collect your pool towels from reception. - The 2 air-conditioners in the room worked a treat and were appreciated after being in the Karratha heat. - Bed was firm but ok for us with just a couple of nights stay. - Kitchen area with a big fridge with freezer, double burner stove top, microwave, dishwasher and cupboards full of things. - Laundry area and washing machine in bathroom area. - The pool was big and the Cafe overlooks the pool. - Most car parks have shade over the top of them. - The receptionist was very thorough giving you lots of information on check in & a key drop off box if reception unattended. We'd definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely and clean spacious accomodation with beautiful tropical gardens. Large swimming pool with 6 sun loungers. Good wifi & pleasant welcoming staff. Not far to shops/restaurants but having a car makes getting around easier. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend for your next stay in Karratha.

The resort has really good sized accommodation. Spacious, clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable and again a good size. The lounge area is big plus there is a washer/dryer provided. There is a pool on site but I didn't have an opportunity to use it. Located about 3-4 kms out of Karratha town you will need transport to get to and from the resort for restaurants, bars, shopping etc. But being out of town means it is quieter albeit the main road that runs past the resort is busy with traffic specifically traffic for the resources sector. Unfortunately, the onsite restaurant has closed down which would have been an additional bonus and saved driving into town for dinner. A brewery/dinner is about 2kms from the resort heading out of town but I didn't have a chance to eat there on this occassion
