Hotel is a good location to Miller Park but hotel looks worn needs updated...staff provided good service....breakfast was typical BW style...bar had good drink choices.

Hotel is not well kept up for the price. We reserved months before we came so that we were sure to get a room for the Brewer game. The price was high at $215/night. Once we were there, we looked at the hotel online to check room cost and it was nor $135/night. The staff told us the reason for this is that the hotel didn't fill and that they had rooms open so the price went down. Felt like a rip off as they wouldn't reduce our rate at all. The hotel is old and not worth the price we were charged. Outlets in our room were not covered. The hall by the restroom in the restaurant area was covered with water puddles over the 5 days we were there. Very dangerous.

I found this place on Reddit in a thread of where to stay for a Brewers game. It is still quite a walk (about 15 minutes) to the Field. I would say I made a good decision because of the shuttle service which gets five stars from me. The hotel itself is older. It was clean though it has a bit of a smoky odor. Rooms are smallish though not bad with a decent TV, fridge, Keurig. The shower was good at night but when I took one in the morning couldn’t seem to get any hot water out. The bed was fine and the temperature of the room stayed good. The breakfast was standard “free breakfast” fare and was perfectly fine. Pool was great but not a towel to be seen. I think this like the front desk would have been better served by additional staffing. I was going to say this was a solid three out of five. But that was before the shower situation. There’s a lot of tough recent reviews and the place isn’t cheap. It was generally a god experience for us and I am not sure what other options are nearby. But I feel pretty nervous recommending it for any reason other than a for a bed after a Brewers game. Although the place has been renovated, the pictures on the site are accurate but the rooms are smallish and the place is older than what one might gleam from the pics.

The Best Western Plus on National Ave. is in desperate need of renovations. The hotel is musty and dirty. The hotel room odor was nauseating. The beds were soft and very worn. Additionally, the room was not ready at check-in, and I was treated like I was asking for too much when I inquired about its availability.

Clean, very good complimentary breakfast, good location -we rode the 18 bus downtown & to the airport (have to transfer) , free shuttle service to the ballpark, but also within walking distance - we cut through the Veterans Affairs Medical Center to go the Brewers game & used the shuttle service after the game. Ate twice at 4th Base Restaurant - great food & atmosphere, enjoyed time spent at National Pizza Pub & Bar in the hotel basement - reasonably priced & great service & food. Free parking but we got around fine the 3 days we were there without a car - only used an Uber to get from the Amtrak station to the hotel.

This was a delightful hotel. The staff were wonderful, food was good & beds comfy. There was even a bus to Brewers stadium. Highly recommend this hotel. My son played pool with some guys from Wisconsin & made a friend on the bus. Great experience.

We spent a night at this best western due to an early medical surgery in Milwaukee. This hotel was recommended by the hospital due to the close distance. The hotel is a bit dated, but overall rooms are decent. The hotel shares a wall with an apartment building. Now, after our check-in, we went to our first room. The moment we sat on the beds, we noticed loud noises coming from somewhere, specifically bass. This went on for about 1 hour before we both said we can't do this. We were about to call the front desk, but they called us first. They said they were aware of the issue in that room and offered us a new room. Now, if you know there's an issue with a room, don't put anyone in that room. Once we were in a new room, everything was fine. The hotel offers a gym, pool, restaurant, and a shuttle to and from brewers games. I would recommend that if you know theres a problem with a room to not book that room, that whole situation gave me a migraine that lasted for about a week.
