This lodge is 100% better than the north bound one. Though it is also an older-style lodge it is clean and welcoming. Great reception team. Heaters work. I would stay here again. M&S, greggs and costa on site.

The hotel is fine, staff were lovely but, even though we registered our vehicles with the hotel we have received 3 parking fines. There was either a problem with the system or our registration numbers were not entered into the system. I know of two other parties that stayed at the hotel on the sane day have also received fines. Be aware of this when choosing to stay here.

Better than you would expect by far. Run by a friendly, helpful and committed team. Room fully functional and spotlessly clean. We’ve been here plenty times - our go-to place in the area. Highly recommended Travelodge.

Easy to find , easy parking. Good welcome , spacious room with bath and shower , tea/coffee . Everything in good condition and clean . Quiet , even though facing car park.

Stopped here with friends as it was a half way point between us all, so location, fantastic. Booked a saverrate room at a reasonable price. Staff are welcome and fantastic. Go above and beyond to help in any way they can! Smiley, friendly and hard workers. You can tell they are supportive together, good team work! Lovely atmosphere. The rooms are amazing clean and smell lovely, beds are very comfortable and freeview T.V bonus 👍 obviously its next to the motorway so some noise! Moto service, with M&S, BurgerKing, Costa straight opposite and KFC, McDonald's, Starbucks across the road. Great choices, also a 5 minute drive into blyth itself. Had a superb stay.

Easy on line booking procedure, Nice friendly welcome by Kim explaining everything. Clean and tidy room, warm enough on a horrible cold wet night. Good night's sleep. Fair price breakfast package. Good parking. Easily managed by old people like us (We are in our 80's). John Dawson
