The check in was simple and the room was clean and ok presented. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. As far as the room is concerned I have no complaints except it smelled of urine. Really strongly. I opened the window to clear it but it felt ingrained. The bedding and everything seemed to smell of it. Not sure what is going on with this.. The bathroom and towels did their job. For the price, £30, I’d probably stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at Travelodge London road. Very conveniently located, great price, the room was spotlessly clean but more importantly some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. I was staying for a couple of weeks so got to know a few of the staff all of whom went above and beyond, Brad, Sadiq and especially Annie. Were extremely helpful and welcoming. 10/10

我们提前一个月预订并支付了9月11日晚的房间。当天下午，我接到酒店的电话，确认我们是否还会入住，我觉得这很贴心。然而，傍晚时分我们到达酒店后，却被告知房间已满，无法入住。酒店提供了两个选择：要么入住距离酒店15分钟车程的奇夫利Travelodge酒店，要么退款。我们向经理投诉，但毫无结果。酒店方面解释说，他们超额预订了房间，这是我们仅有的两个选择。这意味着我们无法按计划前往纽伯里，但我们是从多塞特郡远道而来，所以感觉别无选择，只能入住奇夫利Travelodge酒店。之后，我向Travelodge的客服投诉，心想他们至少会给我们一些补偿，或者退还部分或全部费用，但他们拒绝了。

床单上有污渍，浴室里有头发，看起来非常不干净。如果是提前入住的话或许还能理解，但我晚上9点以后才入住，质量控制太差了。
