This hotel is right on the seafront and is very easy to find. We visited family for Christmas and chose to stay here. We have stayed at this hotel before. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. We had a great night's stay, there was no noise and have no complaints whatsoever. We even recived a Christmas card from the staff which was a lovely touch. We won't hesitate to book this hotel again.

We are from Sunderland and just fancied a couple of days away so booked the Premier Inn at Whitley Bay which has fantastic spot right on the seafront . The walks along the beach when the tides out are something special . Plenty of space for walkers and bikes all the way to St Marys Lighthouse. We enjoyed having lunch at the Cavern and Galley further down the sea front. ( Lovely food ) Hotel is and not far from shops and Wetherspoons pub the Fire Station . Hotel was easy to get to and had a large car park right next to the Beefeater Pub which is only £3 for a full day until 23.56. .The charges dont start until 10 am so you can nip down and re submit a new ticket for another day as many days as you need . The hotel was as expected for Premier Inn and we had a sea view . Nice room with loads of space and well cleaned comfortable bed with Air Con to cool or warm the rooms . Never heard any noise from others over the two days . Only a slight down side is the windows cant be opened otherwise you could hear the sea and tide coming in over night . We ate elsewhere as the Service at the Beefeater was so poor and we waited so long for food and cancelled it. we paid for our drinks and left . Hotel has easy access and a lift to three floors. Thanks to all the staff . Although we have a lovely sea front at Sunderland we like Whitley Bay and its wide open sea front . Why travel further ??

Really lovely hotel with everything you need, welcoming staff and a quiet, calm atmosphere. It’s always spotless when I stay at a Premier Inn. Sea view was utterly glorious.

I stayed with my family yesterday and checked out today. Everything about the stay was marvellous. The lady who checked me in was very polite as was the other lady who was working later who gave me a spare key! The breakfast was magnificent as was the person who served me. I also asked for two well done fried eggs which was done really well. I would definitely come here again in the future!

The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and contained the basic requirements. However, there is nothing more comforting than a dry, warm towel when you step out of the shower. Unfortunately the towels were neither of these. There is no heated towel rail in the bathroom nor anywhere to hang towels to dry except either the shower rail or the back of a chair. We were advised that we could have requested fresh towels daily but that doesn't contribute to reducing Premier Inn's carbon footprint. Also the fan didn't work in the bathroom so the whole room became humid once the bathroom door had been opened after showering.

Easy to book on line, car parking available, very sort walking distance to Whitley Bay Promenade & Beach with a view of the whole bay. Only a 10 minute walk from Metro Station. Friendly staff, Room clean and well kept. Only minor problem was we weren’t explained how to turn on the rooms electricity, by use of the door key card. The Beefeater Inn next door for meals :- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Also other restaurant's within easy walking distance.

Room very basic. No drawers to put clothes.Dressing table very small and not good lighting.Only towels for one person and 1 key card and when we went to ask for more at reception ( believe the lady was called Adele) we got a negative response. My partner was told it was only a budget hotel and when she asked for extra towels, key etc she was put to back of queue of people waiting to be checked in.My partner felt let down and on saying that we wouldn't ever return the lady said well we dont want you back.It really spoilt our night. The only good point was the girl that was on reception early afternoon was very nice. As for being a budget hotel I disagree. We paid £120 room only plus had parking charges as well.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Whitley Bay with my little girl, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more helpful team. Travelling alone with a child can be stressful, but every member of staff was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring — they really helped put me at ease. Everywhere was spotless too! I’m really, really fussy when it comes to cleanliness and have even been known to go out and buy new duvets and pillows when staying away — but here, I didn’t need to worry one bit. The room was immaculate, fresh, and so comfortable.
