The room was clean and the people were polite. Water was soaking the area under the heater/air conditioner, we told the receptionist on check out. We weren’t sure if the water was coming in because of the rain or if it was some other reason.
But most importantly the hotel was close to the University.

The structure of the hotel is apparently made of wood and not concrete. That means you can hear people above you creaking on the floor. The hotel is situated next to a highway entrance or at least it sounds like that. Luckily I am a heavy sleeper. The hallways were painted by a blind man that left white paint all over the carpets. My room stunk of air freshener to disguise the bad smell from a recent occupying smoker and a nasty ceiling looking like it had a toilet leak from above. The room was clean but looked beaten up. Breakfast was akin to prison fair. It felt like folks were living there, not a very safe feeling. All in all the place feels like a low rent poor halfway house. Desk man was nice, staff looked demoralized. My car did not get broken into over night so that was a plus.

Decent. Staff responded well when there was an issue with the tv. The rooms and hallways seemed much smaller than is typically the case for a Comfort Inn. It seemed like they were in the middle of some kind of renovation as the hallway had a lot of paint splashes. But the beds were comfortable and everything else was ok.

They were doing some minor work, that no way interfered my stay. Staff was Excellent!! So Helpful in Every Way!! Respect Given, Respect Received!! Very Hard Working Maintenance Man goes Non Stop!!! Didn't See Him Stationary once...Don't Know What They Are Paying Him, But He Definitely Deserves A Substantial Raise!!! Pool was closed I believe due to time of year, but it was spotless & Very Inviting!

The bed was rock hard and everytime you moved it bounced several times. They were remodeling which but the rooms had holes in the room with some type of patch. It made me wish I
Had picked a different place, the check in guy was nice is about all that I can say was good .

Just don't bother
First the good things: great breakfast and comfy bed.
On to the bad things: Dingy/dirty furniture in the room. Only 1 lamp in the whole suite. A very unusable couch in the room. There was a rickety old desk and broken cupboard with an unusable sink. There were stains on the floor and the ceiling. They do not enforce the no smoking in the rooms. Walking down the hall was horrible. The pot odor was so bad and.strong.. day after day, it didn't change. It would get so bad, our room smelled of smoke.
