My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing weekend. The Victorian house was beautiful and decor was absolutely perfect. The hosts were very attentive and caring. We would certainly visit again and would highly recommend to others. The location was convenient as well.

Our group of 18 went for high tea. We selected the top level which consisted of tea and sandwiches and a variety of dessert bars and cookies. Based on other reviews our expectations were high. Once seated we were on our own. The owner or manager never came in to welcome us. The table was lovely but the tea was cold and we had to serve ourselves. No staff ever came to check on us and never acknowledged us when we left. Too bad because many of us talked about returning which we will not.

The breakfast was excellent! James prepared our favorite breakfast of scrambled eggs, toast with butter and preserves. My husband had sausage and I had bacon. We stayed in the Sacred Hearts room which was decorated beautifully in purple . The bed was very comfortable.

Great place to stay; very clean. Breakfasts were wonderful. My husband LOVES trains so he was happily surprised by the proximity and frequency of the trains. If you're not a big train fan, the hosts have provided white noise as well as ear protection. The hosts are very, very nice! We'd definitely stay here again if in the area.

Travel Back in Time
Whole Hearts B&B is an beautiful 19th century home, decorated for that period. Every corner has something interesting to look at. The bed is comfortable and everything is clean. If you love history and great service, give it a try. And hosts Sheila & James will make you a homemade breakfast at a time of your choosing! Yum. Lastly, the price was the best around.

The hosts were very welcoming and felt very comfortable. My room was large and and furnished with antiques. The house is furnished with antiques throughout. It is very well maintained. Would recommend staying.
