Andre and Rina are very good hosts. Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable. Outdoor seating areas are very relaxing with a view of the garden and the mountain. Nice to sit with a book and a glass of wine.

His Vessel is a quite, peaceful stay in the heart of Clarens. The entrance to the Clarens Nature Reserve is right outside the gate, which is great for quick hikes/ walks.

Very nice laid back stay excellent breakfast. the breakfast vouchers for the other two days detracted from the experience as we wanted to stay in nevertheless the breakfast at a local restaurant was good. the fan in the shower was extremely annoying when showering as there was a draft. We however think this is minor and would recommend His vessel for another visit.

It is a pleasant small hotel, just in front of the mountain, with a view of the mountain from the bedroom. The reception is welcoming, breakfast, served in the bedroom, is GREAT

We really enjoyed our stay. Very accommodating hosts and you have all you need. Very close to the Square. Right next to the conservancy which is also convenient. If we ever pass Clarens again, we will be back!

I overnighted at His Vessel Guesthouse on 7th Feb 2025. I was warmly greeted by my hosts and shown my guest room. It was all and more than I needed, well equipped, comfortable (especially the bed). Complementary tea, coffee, sugar and real fresh milk were provided. I can confidently and highly recommend His Vessel Guesthouse, great value for money
