Guesthouse with a great location Reception on the 2nd floor. Stayed in a dormitory single room on the 3rd floor. Good points... - Staff are kind and friendly. - Kitchen on the 2nd floor (condiments are reasonably well-stocked. Rice cooker available. No oil, plastic wrap, or aluminum foil). - Shared space on the 2nd floor (few seats with power outlets. Lights off at 10pm). - Free coffee and tea. - Comics. - Newspapers. Bad points... - Almost no space to put luggages in a dormitory single room. - No curtains on the windows in the room. - No supermarket nearby. - Problem with the shower toilet was not fixed for a long time. Other points... - Towels are charged. - Small fan, hangers, mirror and towel rack in the bed room. - On the 3rd floor, 2 toilets (one closed midway through the stay for some reason.), 2 showers (one closed midway through the stay for some reason), 2 sinks, 2 hairdryers, 1 paid washing machine/dryer. - Shoes are not permitted inside the facility, and slippers must be used (shoes and slippers are arranged in a messy manner in the shoe lockers. It does not appear that used slippers are disinfected). - During dinner time (around 7pm), staff monopolized the kitchen, preparing meals and eating while chatting. During this time, dirty cooking equipments were left in the sink. Staff chatted loudly and for long periods of time. Rice cooker could not be used either as rice had been left in it for a long time. - A staff member said that when there are a lot of guests, guests staying multiple nights are assigned to the top bunks of the bunk beds to increase cleaning efficiency. - When I stayed last time, I was able to borrow bicycle (there were 2) for free, but they were not usable due to poor maintenance this time.
