Very clean, well cared for, beautiful house with lots of history. Hosts are friendly, kind, helpful, and funny. Breakfasts are amazing and served with a smile and friendly banter. The area is very nice and walkable, with beautiful sunsets from the river down the street. Do make sure that you look at and take the hosts suggestions for food!

My family drove down to Magnolia Springs B&B from Chicago. We were welcomed by David, and Eric when we arrived. There truly are the most amazing friendliest inn keepers that provide top notch southern hospitality. Little did we know all about the history of all the people that came from Chicago in the past. They have did so much to the b&b by especially the most important keeping the history alive! We enjoyed David wonderful breakfast there were delicious and nutritious. We enjoyed the cookies at night. Our room Cowen was extremely comfortable. There is something special about this b&b that David & Eric have done to make you appreciate the history! We hope to be back soon, and next time it will be more than three nights!

David and Eric were phenomenal hosts. The room was clean and beautiful. The plentiful breakfasts were delicious and healthy. The mingling with other guests in the breakfast room was always a joy. We watched college football playoff games in the TV room with other guests and David and Eric were the perfect hosts. Don’t miss dinner at Jesse‘s (reservations required) and walking all over the lovely town of Magnolia Springs. We took a short drive to Fairhope and wandered around the beautiful downtown. We also spent a day driving down and discovering the beach area. Our favorite activity was walking the oak lined roads of Magnolia Springs… and breakfast!!

My hubby & I loved our 3 night stay at Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast. Magnolia Springs is known for its "Southern Charm", abundant magnolia trees, and natural springs. It is situated on the Magnolia River, which is home to the last year-round river mail delivery routes in the US. It is perfectly situated near Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley and Fairhope. The Bed and Breakfast was built in 1897 and is surrounded by gorgeous oak trees. It has been beautifully restored and managed by David and Eric. Alabama Magazine recognized them as Best Bed & Breakfast Award in 2024. We stayed in the McLennan Room which has 12 foot ceilings, an iron canopy bed and sitting area. The 3 course breakfasts were delicious! We also enjoyed chatting with them and learning about the local area. It’s two thumbs up from us!

But just so readers don't get here and be mad when I don't serve a 3rd course there were only 2 courses that we served you but I am tickled it was enough to make you feel like you had 3 courses! It is a great point because most of our guest never do lunch. They have our breakfast, an afternoon snack and then their dinner. All this to say there is value staying here. You take care of your dinner and we will pretty much take care of the rest for the rate that you pay to stay here....not a bad gig! Again thanks for the wonderful review and since your only an hour away I look forward to the next time you come over for a visit!

My wife and I spent 2 delightful nights. This is a truly exceptional B&B. The owners, Dave and Eric, set the tone: welcoming but not intrusive. Dave's breakfasts are both healthy and delicious! The facility has all the comforts of home and sits on a beautiful, spacious property under a canopy of magnificent oak trees in a magical small town setting. The Magnolia Springs River bisects the town one block away. Residents walk or ride in golf carts. Although only minutes from the Gulf beaches, we felt that we were a world away (in a good way). Our only regret was that Dave and Eric were fully booked and we couldn't stay longer. We will be back!

Beautiful location and home. Everything was clean and comfortable, The canopy of magnolia trees and live oak trees is breathtaking. We so enjoyed meeting and talking to the owners, who were helpful, kind and entertaining. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved the cookies at the end of the day. They fortified us on our drive home and reminded us of our new friends! Thank you David and Eric.

Fantastic Inn! Accommodations were excellent! The owner, David Worthington, was gracious, accommodating, great sense of humor, and engaging. The breakfast each morning was something to behold! Delicious and healthy! The neighborhood is great for quiet walks and is beautiful. Great location as it is close enough to the action, but removed enough to allow for a breath of relief!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast! We were warmly greeted upon arrival and with clear instructions for our stay we were on our own to enjoy the house and the beautiful surroundings. Our room had all the quality comforts we expected from the comfortable bed to the nice linens. Breakfast on the porch was wonderful, the food even better! We stayed for 3 nights and each breakfast was unique and delicious. This B&B will certainly be our go-to on future trips south!
