As I stay hear on a regular basis I booked a double room as having trouble sleeping and normally book a single. But I got the same room as I stayed in previously as a single room booking.
Quilts and pillows need replacing as they are limp and smell.

Great overnight stay at The George Hotel which is centrally located in the city and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. Room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Staff welcoming and helpful and would recommend to others and return if staying in the area again

Short stay in Lichfield
We were in Lichfield for a short break the George Hotel is right in the centre of the City the staff were friendly & helpful the hotel is clean and tidy. There is a private car park and I would recommend a stay here.

Decent hotel, feels slightly dated
Exceptionally hot weather. Fan was provided but air conditioning unit was inoperative. We were told they were being changed. Hence rooms were stiflingly hot.
