we booked this hotel for a last minute get away with our two young children for our oldest sons birthday. all he wanted to do was swim in the pool, that was his only birthday ask. Upon arrival at the Hyatt the staff was very sweet & the lady who checked us in was excellent. We went to check out the pool & noticed maybe 20 kids running around & jumping in & out of the pool, (we believed there may have been traveling baseball) so we decided to try the pool after we ate some dinner. The restaurant down stairs was very convenient & the staff once again were very friendly. After dinner we swung by the pool again only to find it so packed people were standing around the edges waiting to get in. We summed it up as our fault we booked a busy weekend no one else’s. We decided we would wake up bright & early hit the pool, only to find the pool absolutely disgusting. So disgusting after the 3rd glob of hair my toddler pulled out of the water I decided that was enough swimming for us & we would go try some breakfast. The pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see through it at all, there was debris floating in it. Bandaids were all over the pool deck & my sister in law cleaned up the pool area because when we came down in the morning it was horrendous. Towels everywhere, trash left from the million people the day before & balls of hair all over. We were so disappointed in the fact that, we came for the pool & it was as horrible. There was also a used shower soap in our shower.

Amazing service!!
I would like to thank the chef for making me breakfast bag to go for my Hennepin Hundredth race. When he heard that i needed breakfast he went out of his way to make a breakfast bag for me, It was a life saver.
Also, thank you to the check in crew, they were extremely nice and so friendly. I was impressed with this hotel and would definitely come back.

Awesome view of Mississippi River. What I didn’t like was the queen beds were very close to wall on one side making it challenging to get up

I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast has a lot of options. They have dinner options as well . Ordering a Margarita felt like a rip off, so they could improve there. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Very helpful as well. Crystal went above and beyond to assist me with printing a document first thing in the morning. The only issue I had was with house keeping. After two nights my room still didn’t get cleaned, just towels and trash emptied. I could have lived with that, but the dirty glasses were not replaced. I had to wash them out on my own. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay in so many ways!
My family was amazed that we got such a good deal on hotel. Amazing river views, clean and spacious rooms w plates amd utensils, and super kind staff! We plan to meet our Chicago family members there regularly!
The breakfast was fantastic. We have never had a free breakfast with as many options. Tne pool water was comfortably warm too.

Everything was great except for one thing. When we pulled up to the main entrance to check-in late last Friday night we were greeted by 3 obnoxious 30-45 year old guys relieving themselves at the front door as well as made crude remarks to us.
