Probably the nicer hotel in McCook. Billing issues made the stay not very good. Need to figure out for future stays.

Looks to be the newest in town, which by default makes it fairly nice. Bathroom was clean but could have been better. Front counter staff (check-in) was a little confused and challenged but overall fine, but could use some training. Breakfast was great. I'd stay there again.

The staff was nice. Our bed was comfy. The toilet in our room stopped working the first night. When asked the front desk about it in the morning, they said they already sent their handy man home for the day and we were given a plunger to try to fix ourselves. The pool was also very cold and my kids didn’t enjoy it.

The FD person did say he was gone but as I understood it, that you said to put it by your door, and you'd take care of it. Assumed you didn't want anyone up in the room. Apologies if there was a misunderstanding as our FD guest take care of light maintenance such as plugged toilets and other misc duties regularly. Thank you for choosing Holiday Inn Express McCook.

Food left in fridge, crumbs on the floor, we had booked two rooms and the room phone didn’t work in the one room, so they upgraded that room and that phone didn’t work in that room so we didn’t even use the second room the whole trip
