It is good to see they now have microwaves in the room it would also be nice to see some cutlery and plates to utilise the toaster and microwave. Other than that, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I did not utilise the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The hot water could have been hotter, not sure how that is set up maybe I was at the end of the line.

Overnight
A little tired ( like me ) but spotlessly clean, plenty of coffee and tea sachets, 5 minute walk to Coles , 15 minute walk to main shopping areas, Restaurant on site , we had a large room at the back , comfortable bed , quiet .

Wonderful experience! We will stay here again. Wonderful location, great parking, so clean! Heating was great (we stayed in winter), beautiful gardens!
Only downside was the beds weren’t that comfortable.

The owner very unhelpful!!! We were supposed to stay on Sunday night, we were in Gunnedah on Saturday. Roads closed to Armidale due to snow; roads shut to Tamworth due to flooding; we physically could not get to Tenterfield. We left and headed to Moree before roads were shut to flooding. When we had to cancel the owner informed us, we were inside our 24-cancellation period and tough luck and kept our money!

The pink painted buildings were a bit off putting but the new owners told us they were about start work on completely renovating everything. The rooms were beautiful and spacious but the biggest surprise was the beautiful dining room with its wonderful log fire and all newly painted and furnished. We were so glad we decided to eat there as the food was quite good. We hope to go through Tenterfield again in the next few years to see what the new owners do with the place. Highly recommended.

Quiet, private location and very comfy bed!
We were pleased to have a room located at the back of the property. The room was spacious and well appointed, even had a washer & dryer and a microwave with simple kitchen set up for a quick breakfast.
