Absolutely pissed!@
Made my boyfriend buy shaving cream and a razor when they offer them complimentary. The chocolate milk for breakfast was expired two days before our stay date. I got sick from the breakfast. Will NEVER return to that hotel.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom lights are too bright though and will temporarily blind you in the morning. Breakfast hours were also either shorter than advised or they ran out of food.

Can’t Find Your Reservation
On 8/9, walked into the lobby to check in, just to be told that they don’t see my reservation. I showed them the confirmation email with the right date, right address and the amount I am expected to pay. They still can’t find my reservation. They managed to find a room for us, but when I asked if it’s going to be the same price, they told us that they can’t “price match” per policy. They up-charged our stay.
Here’s an idea: go over policy on how to troubleshoot third party reservations. No one wants more points in compensation if there is no chance of trusting IHG in the future.
Even when you do the right thing, it’s always customers who have to pay for consequences.

Staff was friendly and professional. The free breakfast was fair. Overall the room was clean and well maintained. The toilet did mske a loud noise. There was a musty smell in the room

Attended a high school graduation party with relatives. Hadn’t seen some for years! Since party started before check in time I called during the celebration to confirm I was still on list for a room with 2 queen beds. Affirmation was given which put my mind at ease. Check in went with a breeze. The room was immaculate with the bed being the most comfortable. I enjoyed the pillows so much I tried looking up the brand on line. There were so many alternatives, I decided to call down to the main desk to see if the pillow was available for sale directly from the hotel. To my amazement it was and it was priced 2/3 less than on line!! I left the Warrenton Holiday Inn Express with a new pillow in my trunk and a smile on my face!

Clean overall.
Shower curtains need to be checked and changed.
As I heard the clerk be very clear at check-in about pets and smoking, sadly, they need to do the same about noise. Our neighbor's TV played extremely loud ALL NIGHT, impacting our ability to get a food night's sleep. When traveling, it's really maddening!
