Was in town for a wedding. Hotel was fine, comfortable bed, good breakfast. The problem is with the cleaning staff. We came in late the first night and before 7 AM They were busting into the room to clean the room. Thankfully, we had moved the lock as she tried twice to bust into the room while we were sleeping. Of course it woke us up, absolutely blown away that someone was sounding like they’re breaking into our room before 7 AM, because they don’t even knock they just open the door. I guess that’s what you expect from an oilfield town, they assume everybody’s already on the job before 7 AM. But when you have to be in there for any other reason, you do not get your room cleaned the entire time unless you were already out of your room by 6 AM. We spent four nights there, and had to hang on the do not disturb so that we weren’t woken up in the 6 o’clock hour, especially after not making it back to the hotel till 1:30 AM on the night of the wedding. My husband even went and asked the front desk staff to clean the room before we came back one day, all they did was pull the blanket up,and give us a couple of towels. They never cleaned a single thing.

it's just a nice clean hotel for when i need to stay over in Drayton Valley. nice breakfast, good value. nice room.

The attendance at the desk were very helpful in every aspect. Particularly pertaining to copying and faxing a business letter. Staff members were always very eager to help and please.

Exceptional Hospitality & Caring Management
I can’t say enough good things about my stay at this Holiday Inn in Drayton Valley. The rooms are quiet, clean, and well-maintained, but what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible hospitality. I found myself stranded due to car trouble, and the kindness of Mr. Patel and his team was beyond anything I expected. They even invited me to enjoy a free homemade dinner, making me feel truly at home. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with pancakes, yogurt, plenty of protein options, juice, and top-notch coffee. But more than the great amenities, it’s the genuine care and effort from the management that make this place special. Mr. Patel goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels comfortable and valued. If you’re looking for a hotel that treats you like family, this is the place. Highly recommend!
