Absolutely fantastic stay at Colstoncraig. 5 stars, Couldn't recommend it enough! Me and 3 friends stayed at Audrey's BnB for a wedding at The Cow Shed a few minutes drive up the road. We were all so impressed with Audrey and her husband (Alan) re their hospitality and were really touched by their kindness. The BnB was clean, well decorated and very spacious. We were all treated with a full Scottish breakfast and coffee / tea / orange juice on both mornings which was so yummy! What made our breakfast experience even better was Audrey's fab chat and all her hilarious stories and tales about her life growing up in Scotland and her family which we loved hearing. We had some trouble booking a taxi to the wedding so Audrey was kind enough to drop all of us off, no questions asked! The same thing happened the next day when we needed to get to St Andrews for our bus and Audrey's husband (Alan) dropped us off all the way there, too! We were made to feel so welcome and all agreed that we came away from staying at Colstoncraig with a 5 star review and also feeling like we’d known lovely Audrey for years rather than a couple of days! I’ll definitely be back to Crail and when I am, I know exactly where I’ll be staying x

Exceptional! This family run BnB is not to be missed if you are staying in or around Crail. Audrey is a superstar and, alongside her husband, they go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and well-fed. The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast both mornings was delicious. There were yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, a full Scottish breakfast, and unlimited supplies of fresh coffee, tea and toast. Delicious. And on top of the excellent breakfast, Audrey regaled us with tales of her and her family’s adventures through life - it really elevated the experience to the next level! I was staying in Crail with some friends for another friend’s wedding and Audrey kindly ironed some of our clothes, dropped us to the venue, organised for her husband to drop us to St Andrews the next day and helped us to organise onward travel from there. We were all blown away by their hospitality and kindness and I cannot recommend Colstoncraig enough. Much more than being just a business, it is clear that Audrey and her husband pour love and dedication into their BnB to make each guest’s stay as special as possible. If I return to Crail, Colstoncraig will be my first choice!

What a truly fantastic place. Audrey is a gem, with so much knowledge about Crail. Her breakfast is amazing and the room was immaculate. The view from our room was breathtaking. Can’t wait to go back. Sandra & Gavin

We stayed in the family room at the front of the house. The bed was very comfortable, & the room was clean, quiet & cool despite being advised by the owner not to open the window. We were told to remove our outdoor shoes on the premises to prevent the carpets getting soiled. It was not ideal, having the bathroom at the other side of the hallway & when the bedroom door was opened anyone in the hall or up the stairs could easily see right into our room not helped by a mirror on the hall wall facing the room. The breakfast was well cooked and plentiful although the owner told us that many people now do not require a cooked breakfast and do not normally take sugar in their tea. We felt the room was rather expensive for what it was.

Delightful room, spotlessly clean and a very nice breakfast. Our hostess was wonderful, warm, friendly and very obliging, she even had a birthday card waiting for my husband. . Beautiful location. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Crail.

It's a very cozy place to stay in Crail. Audrey makes you feel right at home, the rooms are well-maintained and kept clean, and her breakfast is simply amazing. Location is conveniently near a bus stop and we reccomend the stay if you intend to travel around Crail or the neighbouring villages.

The second time we have come over to Colstoncraig in Crail. Alan and Audrey treat you like family and the accommodation is very homely. The location is perfect just a 5 minute walk from the most iconic harbour in Scotland. The breakfast certainly sets you up for the day and the sea view from the dining room is spectacular. My daughter, Charlotte and I could not recommend this B&B high enough and we can’t wait till our next visit.
