the shower floor needed to be redone as it was old and falling apart. there was a discoloration and it was rough on your feet--very gross! the toilet was leaking water the whole time. the faucet on the sink was not secure. the icemaker on our floor wasn't working. got 3 towels--2 nights for 3 people and when went to get more had to wait for towels as they didn't have any more at that time. We definately wouldn't stay here again....

Would stay there again Breckfast was realy good clean and friendly staff didn't like the pool to cold and no wear to sit around around pool we had 10 Adult's that came there to sit and swim

I’ve stayed at this location a handful of times. I live in Jackson but my kids like to swim so sometimes I get a hotel and this one is our go to. Not anymore. Check in was great. Service was friendly. We get to the room and there’s an entire woman’s outfit sitting in the chair that’s at the desk. I thought it was my kids outfit so I handled someone’s nasty clothes. There was poop marks 12 inches above where the toilet paper is at. There was some nasty stuff on the end of the bed I slept in. I really don’t want to describe it but I have pics and I did show the staff. The kids pool normally has a sprinkler, but according to the staff is likely not going to be fixed due to cost or something. I don’t know. Pretty ridiculous when I paid $140 for a room. The ac/heat unit needed attention. Wouldn’t get warm. Wouldn’t get cool. The plug in next to the bed was broke so we had to charge things across the room. I booked with notes that i had a 7 year old and a 12 year old and I was booked in a conjoining room which I did not feel safe in. As I explained to the staff, I’m not trying to be negative but I loved this hotel at one point. And I want it to get back to that. Maybe this was an off day for the staff. I’m not sure. I know me staying elsewhere won’t hurt anyone’s pockets but I’ll be taking a break from Holiday Inn.

The hotel called me less than 24 hours ahead of our departure to Michigan and said they canceled my rooms. They just said, oops we are full. My reservation had been made well over a month ahead of time. They made zero attempt to help get us set up elsewhere so we were scrambling to find a place at the last minute. Won’t EVER book there again.
