Our experience was a failure on the part of *******. I booked and paid for 2 rooms for two employees. When they arrived, the electronic reservation sent to the Hotel only had the information for one room. The employee provided proof of booking but was still forced to rebook and pay for another room. We are on week two of trying to get a refund.

Everything was great, except room keys would not operate the side doors or back door of the first floor. Had to drag all my stuff around through the front lobby.

The room was a little dirty upon arrival and even after I spoke to the front desk about it, it was not cleaned. The hotel was dated and beginning to look run down with things that needed repaired. Staff was nice though.

The key-cards did not work frequently on out side doors as well as room doors. Staff was very helpful and re-keyed the cards. We had to repeat this several times. This is apparently a “problem“ ,as other clients reported the same problem. I suggested they get a new key-card machine!

The stay overall was good. My only note is that there was a constant every-so-slightly damp feeling to everything in the room, and I like to have never gottennoutnof the bathroom when I closed the door (it got stuck!), the furniture it the dining area was a couple of steps above being shabby, and a few things were out of order (i.e. the drink/juice dispenser and a sink in the bathroom on the main floor). I appreciated the clear insteuctions on tge signs, the fresh lemon water, and the excellent customer service.

The room was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. When I book a room in a Hotel one of the amenities I look for is a hot tub, this hotel advertised they had a hot tub but in fact they did not, I suggest they change their advertisement. Not happy!

Unfortunately our stay was a disappointment in a few ways and just didn’t hold up to our usual expectations of a Holiday Inn Express. The rooms felt quite outdated, the A/C system was making a loud rattle sound making it hard to sleep, the dining chairs looked very dingy (there were slip covers to try to cover up worn fabric but the slip covers looked old too), and at breakfast the juice/water machine was out, the coffee was empty and we had to unwrap the cinnamon rolls ourselves as they were just put out in shrink wrapped trays.
We also were woken at 6:11am by a fire alarm which may have been needed but I never heard an explanation. It only lasted about 10-15 seconds but after that my children nor I got any more sleep!
