I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any requests or questions. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. We stopped in Atlanta to visit a relative on our way west toward home. It was January 1, 2026. Too late to drive any further, so chose this hotel for the night. When we entered to check in at the desk, I could see that it was being renovated with lumber stacked up in the lobby and the floor torn up. We checked in to the room and looking out the window we had a view of a dumpster close to the window. There were other signs of work being done, I am sure housekeeping was not able to keep up. When I read other reviews, I saw that this hotel has apparently been under renovation for nearly a year. Our room seemed fairly clean though. But then in the morning, the breakfast was pretty bad, stale old or maybe has been reheated too many times? The coffee was so bad that we left and went elsewhere to buy some decent coffee to continue our drive home.

If your standards are none, this is your best choice. Dirty, unacceptable, and less than hospitable are the words that come to mind to describe my stay. Dirty shower floor, hair in shower, in the sink, in the drawer, unvacumed carpet. Requested a new room upon check in, and was told no rooms were available, but that management would get back to me - they did not. I then requested a new room in the morning and was told that despite my request, I would not be moved, but housekeeping would do a deep clean. I watched housekeeping wipe down surfaces, and change linens. It was not a deep cleaning by anyone’s standards. The construction made this hotel an eye sore and was appalling to me, considering what I paid for 3 nights. None of these things should be so carelessly visible to the consumer. I always had to look for a front desk staff member, and when leaving, had to call from my cell phone to check out because no one was there. It was so bad that I checked out a day early, because I was done with the second class experience. Customer service is non existent here. This is a motel with hotel prices. Good luck to you!

Honestly, they should be closed while renovating!! The renovations that are being done makes the place seem inhabitable. But in addition to that our bathroom shower was filthy. We had to request it be cleaned. And even afterwards it still had brown stains in the shower pan and hair on the walls. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

The place in under renovation. The entire first floor is unavailable including the pool and gym. The dust is overwhelming. The room is a mess. The door didn’t lock correctly, the toilet paper holder was broken. They only provided 3 towels cause they were short on towels. The customer service especially Curtis was horrible. He ended our chat with exclamation points several times. Didn’t want to hear it. We went for a kids basketball tournament. 4 kids were throwing the ball in the parking lot away from traffic and with parental supervision and the female front desk attendant came out yelling and ranting. There was nothing for the kids to do or anywhere for them to hangout. Awful experience altogether. Never stay here.

The beds are not as comfortable as other hotels we've stayed, the tv was frustrating, it says what you are watching in corner but it is not that channel, same for guide viewing, press ok and it is not the channel you selected. The breakfast was average only a few hot items and they were barely edible. The 1st floor is under construction so there's a lot of dust and disarray.

Whitney at check-in was so friendly. I had many questions, but she was pleasant and willing to answer them. We booked the day before and on the day of check-in, received a phone call letting us know the elevators were not working. I agreed, that going on the 3rd floor was ok. Check-in was simple and easy. There is construction on the 2nd floor as well. The only rooms available are on the 1st and 3rd floors. Not a problem, I got a good workout in during the weekend going up and down the steps. Rooms can stand an upgrade (furniture, bedding, etc). Everything was clean in the room. Pillows are softer than I'd like but comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. The carpet in the hallway and stairwell needs to be lifted and replaced along with the carpet in the bedrooms. Plenty of parking- but beware, while I was there, there was a break-in on one car. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and a few shops up the street, with the Tanger Outlet a few miles away.

The room, lobby and breakfast area were clean and well stocked. Staff were friendly and helpful. They offered “sack breakfast” for guests who have to leave before or after serving time. I will definitely stay here again the opportunity arises.

Stayed at this Hampton Inn on way to Alabama.. pool was closed although inside hotel . Shower drain broke , along with handicap shower head. Looks fresh on the outside , but is worn and dated on the inside . Hallways were stuffy and HOT ! Breakfast Bar was not good .. 2nd time this week traveling and staying at Hampton.. they need to up their game . Staff was friendly.. just don't have a newer facility. I'm a Honors member and stayed at 2 Hampton Inns during this trip. Both of them failed to meet up to Hilton standards.. I think Hilton is pushing Hampton as a moderate chain and focusing more on their new TRU Hotel chain

I stay at many Hampton Inn’s and this was a big disappointment! The staff were great but the facilities left a lot to be desired. The outside of the hotel has been renovated and landscaped, my expectations were high. Once we entered, I was presented with a very tired and worn accommodation. Basic maintenance has not been performed here for quite some time. Avoid this Hampton until the renovations inside are completed.
