Recent stay in Newmarket
This is a repeat visit over the last few years. Room was clean and tidy, and unlike another hotel stayed in over the previous couple of days, the aircon worked!
Staff friendly and helpful, with a thank you to the dining room staff, who looked after me so well.
I cannot comment on eco-friendliness considering I have no idea what the hotel does and does not recycle, but when cereal boxes and weetabix wrappers (all recyclable where I live in Wiltshire) are mixed in with all rubbish in one bin, perhaps separate discard bins may help staff to separate out cardboard/ paper/ plastics and weetabix wrappers and cereal bags (these can be recycled with other identified recyclable bags, including recyclable cling film, via supermarkets (not sure about bulk suppliers).
I had a single room with a sprung only mattress which di cause me some back pain, so perhaps a foam topper could be added?

All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sara and Pinky. The room was spacious and well appointed. Great location right next to the Gallops.

房间里非常冷，所有的暖气都关了。走廊就像廉价的斑马冰站一样，我们到达时没有灯光，所以不得不用手电筒。我们换了房间，想找个暖和点的，但到达时房间也太冷了。最后房间暖和了一点，但我们整晚都开着暖气。另外，我们没能用上水壶，后来发现是插座坏了。总而言之，说得委婉一点，真是令人非常失望。
令人失望的是，我提前打电话说我身体不好，无法预订，不像镇上其他的住宿，他们没有退款，也没有为以后的预订提供任何优惠。

停车场和位置都很好
酒店位置优越，靠近市中心。酒店内设有停车场。通往房间的走廊很冷，窗户漏水。我们离开时正下着雨，所有窗台上都有积水。我们到达时，我们和同事的房间窗户都开着，但房间里仍然弥漫着潮湿的气味。浴室有浴缸淋浴，但没有任何辅助进出设施。浴室是塑料浴帘，而不是酒店照片上展示的淋浴屏。我们倒洗脸盆里的水时，脏水涌入浴缸。早餐种类很少，但提供熟食早餐。提供标准的茶和咖啡，但没有咖啡师调制的选择。工作人员很友好，但不会再来了。
没有冰箱
裝修比較舊，但房間很大，乾淨整潔，床也很舒適，鄰近馬場博物館，適合家庭入住
