This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time.
Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. It was noisy and there was a "hume" from some kind of machinery that kept kicking in. The heating was not on in the evening, despite it being only 2 degrees outside.
For the sake of convenience, we would stay again.

The Room we had was clean, the bathroom was dimly lit with I lamp not working, toilet seat incorrectly installed and kept moving
Overall a very tired room

Two nights to enable us to attend a concert at Sandringham. Room was large but floors all creak alarmingly.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a concert at Sandringhan house, property was easy to find and had ample parking.
Check-in was very straight forward, and receptionist very friendly and welcoming, room was very clean and cosy, and had all of the amenities required, and expected.
Had a meal in the restaurant and food was excellent, as was breakfast in the mornings, and service was excellent, again all staff very friendly and welcoming.
All in all, hotel is a great place to stay, some of the previous reviews state that the hotel is a little tired, but then again it is a 13th century property, so what would you expect!!?.
My wife also left a personal item in the room when we left, contacted the hotel when we arrived home, and they located it, and posted it back to us.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate in returning, and thank you to all of the staff that looked after us.

梳妆台右侧的插座不应该上下叠放。
窗户上有很多冷凝水，由于是铝合金窗框，所以会滴水。

办理入住时，我们问是否可以喝点东西，但被告知酒吧已经关门了。我们拿到了一张登记表，我填好了却忘了签名，那位年纪较大的女士很不耐烦地提醒了我，然后给了我钥匙和房间的地址。我们在酒店里转悠了一会儿，才发现钥匙上的房间号在酒店的另一边，最后我们才找到房间。我们收拾好行李，调了杯饮料后，她打电话到我们的房间，说我们走错了，并道歉让我们换房间。她答应我丈夫（她似乎对他更客气一些）酒吧开门后会请他喝一杯。我们收拾好行李搬到了新房间，但是浴室里下水道的臭味实在令人难以忍受。我丈夫下楼去前台反映，最终我们被安排到了对面的房间。我们第二次重新打包行李后搬了过去，刚把行李整理好，她就敲门要回原来的钥匙，说要看看有什么问题。她更关心的是客房服务需要做什么，因为我们已经换了两个房间了。在我们要求换房间后，她收回了之前提供的饮料。房间非常陈旧，清洁程度令人质疑，床单上有污渍，被子也皱巴巴的，但我们还是接受了房间，住了下来。前台那位女士态度冷漠无礼，对我丈夫说话比对我客气多了。我们接触到的所有工作人员都很不友好，至于早餐，我只能说勉强能吃。
这次住宿体验糟透了，我能清楚地听到走廊里人们的谈话。吸烟区就在窗外，所以整晚我都闻到浓重的烟味。床单上有血迹，浴室的边角破损，浴帘很脏，浴缸上有洞，卷纸架在马桶上方，坐在马桶上根本够不着。浴室入口处的台阶很危险，我好几次都绊倒了。残疾人停车位很小，就在吸烟区旁边，而且还有一根木柱挡着，门都开不开。枕头扁得像纸一样，水壶里全是水垢，床垫的弹簧都快要掉了。毛巾上有褐色的污渍，因为窗外有人大声说话、抽烟，还有前台不停地摔门，我根本睡不好觉。房间里唯一值得称道的地方就是电视上有Netflix和遮光窗帘，其他的一切都急需翻新或彻底清洁。这位杂工手艺很差，插座都歪了，做工粗糙。
