This B&B definitely lives up to its name, perfect! Chris goes out of his way to treat you like one of the family, the room is so well equipped, the bed is so comfy, had the best nights sleep and the room was very clean but it's the little detail that makes this place stand out, when my husband asked for juice, Chris went out and bought some, he also got him a birthday card and put it with his breakfast along with special chocolate croissants. When we left, I felt like I was leaving an old friend, fantastic location as well, 5 minute walk to train station where you can get anywhere been London and Portsmouth and stunning walks around Petersfield. Stayed here due to the good reviews. Room and bathroom was very clean but the attention to detail at breakfast was incredibly poor. Butter and jam were served from their original containers with crumbs in the butter. Cereal was in plastic containers and was of a cheap brand. Milk was served from its original carton. No hot breakfast option. Napkin was a piece of kitchen roll! Shame as the property is in a good location and is clean but if improvements were made re breakfast then I would have scored higher.
