Room was not made up upon my return at the end of the day. Additionally - there were no towels in the exercise room ( they were there the day before).

Average!… perfect for a National Park trip, great bang for your buck.
Negatives: kind of a grungy room that needed a deep clean, and it reeked of old socks… but it beats camping in a tent!!
There was no microwave in the room, unfortunately we were counting on it being there when we bought food stuff for the trip. Our friends who booked the exact same room next door, did have a microwave so we were able to use theirs.
Positives: staff were friendly and the housekeepers did a great job cleaning and restocking each day!
Conveniently located minutes away from some of the best parts of Cuyahoga National Park.

Had no carts to take luggage to room. Never seen one the whole time we were there. Booked a king size bed a half hour before getting there. Per ******* there were 4 of these rooms left. When we got there we were informed they were sold out and had to get the queen room.

I cant even say the stay was terrible because we didnt stay. I went to check in and was told that there was something wrong with the water heater and they were closed. The front desk said i should have gotten an email but i hadnt. Fortunately i had trip insurance and i was able to get my money back quickly from *******.

Marriott Akron Fiasco Hotel
The room lacked several items; lotion, cups, coffee and even the shower curtain. The coffee that was provided did not fit the coffee machine, so we were forced to buy it downstairs. Breakfast was expensive where as it is offered for free at most hotels. To top it off, their was a $3.00 per night parking fee. What is that all about? A parking fee for an open parking lot? Unbelievable. I also received a call the day after checkout that I "owed" money for the breakfast. I told the caller my AMEX card was on file for incidentals. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
