If you want a taste of the real authentic Italy off the beaten track in a quiet peaceful region surrounded by vines with the most amazing hosts food, wine and surroundings this is the place for you. Good location for exploring the local area and further afield but would recommend hiring a car, San Bonifacio station is a 15 minute drive with free car parking and quick, cheap and easy rail services to Verona and Venice, lake Garda is an easy drive. Rooms here are well equipped, peaceful and cosy with air con, plenty of hot water, and coffee making facilities, plus the added bonus of the restaurant and bar a stones throw away. Giovanni, owner and chef will pretty much cook you anything you ask for with local ingredients, there is generally a good value two course menu which is great value and delicious. Anna is the perfect host nothing is ever to much trouble, with fishing lakes and sports courts onsite you can have a go if thats your thing. Be prepared to practice your Italian.
