This place is low-key and beautiful. My gfs and I went for my birthday. Stayed 7 nights. Every single staff member was amazing. Especially Betzabelle (Besitos) who was our checkin receptionist. Anything we needed she was on it. Raquel took care of all our needs in our villa. Get the villa. They only have one. Great for multiple peps. Full kitchen, dining table, everything you need. Balcony too. Breakfast was included. They have 3 docks to lounge on. You can order food out from it. If you book boat excursions they pick you right up from there. Ask for Edwin for your boat excursions. We did a sunrise one and a sunset. Included drinks and snacks. The evening one we booked a birthday dinner with champagne. All boutique hotels line this street. Restaurants and bars. I felt completely safe walking back late at night. All walking distance. Casa Shiva made us feel at home and so welcome. Their coconut trees needed trimming while we were there and they served up some for us to drink and one to take home. My friends and I will be back again for sure

If you're looking for an easy and enjoyable way to access the fantastic Laguna de Bacalar, Casa Shiva is a great choice. For 400 pesos, you get a Daypass that includes access to a nice sunbed right by the water, a hammock, towel, changing facilities, kayak rental, and, not to forget, a refund of 200 pesos with a purchase in the restaurant. We spent much of a day swimming in the incredible water with its many shades of color and chilling in our sunbeds on the covered pier. Most of the time, we just couldn't help but smile happily.

For the price we paid ($250 per night) I was totally disappointed by the room, facilities and the service provided. The members of reception staff spoke very little English which made any communication challenging. The room is one of the most basic I’ve seen in my life. No blankets, only bed sheets (we froze on the first night and I came to reception twice to ask for blankets to eventually be given only 3 when there were 4 of us staying in the room) Nowhere to dry our clothes on apart from chairs or bannisters at the balcony Not a single glass in the room No toilet brush!!!!! I had to go to reception to ask for a toilet paper as we had only 1 roll and no one was checking if we had enough No cleaning for 3 nights (but the bathroom bin was emptied once!) Extremely limited breakfast options - only eggs, toasts (no jam or butter), tea and coffee (no black tea offered although I pointed out twice that it’s really weird not to offer the most basic morning drink), small fruit bowl was offered on the last day. Kayaks free of charge available but paddle board had a hole and no paddle available Wooden sun loungers on the grass had no cushions Overall impression was that the staff was totally not interested in making their guests experience memorable or even nice, we felt like they just let us stay there for free so we should expect anyone to take care of us. Extremely disappointing. Good things I’d mention were - beautiful view, lovely pontoon with a hammock and sun loungers, good WiFi.

Ho dato quattro stelle facendo una media: la location naturale e le parti all'aperto dell'albergo meritano certamente cinque stelle (anche sei se possibile....) ma la stanza era davvero mediocre: mobili vecchi, neppure una gruccia per gli abiti o una coperta, niente phon, solo un asciugamano a testa.... Ambiente davvero poco accogliente. Colazione anch'essa mediocre e servita con lentezza esasperante. Il luogo però, ripeto, è uno dei più belli che ho visto in vita mia!
- 从浮桥上欣赏泻湖的美丽景色，非常适合放松身心，配有吊床和躺椅，免费提供桨和皮划艇租赁服务。早餐还可以，但仅此而已。简单的服务。导致我们缩短住宿时间并离开这家酒店的最大缺点是：房间。几乎不卫生，后面有化粪池的味道，散发着恶臭，又旧又破旧，地板损坏又脏，淋浴绝对不会让你想洗。非常硬的床上用品。床单脏了。霉味。水龙头状况不佳。摇摇晃晃的吊扇上满是灰尘，近乎不卫生。房间不隔音。感觉就像我们在一间牢房里。因此，我们在度过了一个非常糟糕的夜晚后决定离开酒店……太糟糕了，因为这个地方拥有天堂般的一切，但设施没有维护，而且明显缺乏清洁度。
如果您想 100% 放松，这里绝对是正确的地方。位于泻湖脚下，前面是一个小鸟岛，有一片红树林沼泽。码头有3个草棚，白天和晚上都能看到壮观的景色，可以休息 餐饮服务，早餐是美式的，但是很丰富。房间里配备了良好休息所需的一切。如果你喜欢早起，你还可以在码头岸边看到一些鱼。
他们地理位置优越，最好的是泻湖的码头，他们有舒适的躺椅，在那里很神奇，景色也很美。你可以在那里游泳，没有危险，因为它很低，而且还有皮划艇。酒店很不错！工作人员态度很好，但是速度很慢 早餐没有堵塞
