We attended a family reunion banquet here, so I can’t comment on the sleeping rooms; however, the hotel temperature was warm in July weather. An extremely loud party next to our banquet room continuously disrupted our family time and drowned out our family guest speakers. No PA system made this problem worse. HUGE HOLE IN THE PARKING LOT WAS UNAVOIDABLE DUE TO ITS RUNNING THE FULL LENGTH OF THE PAVEMENT! I hope my car isn’t damaged because it was night and Though I was driving slowly, my front in dropped right into the large rut and I heard a loud scrapping as my tires cleared the wide cavern! I will never visit here again for any reason. It’s shameful that HI allows its repetition to be lowered to such poor conditions!

This is a conveniently located hotel with plenty of amenities to have a relaxing stay. I was able to acquire a room that was located near the banquet facilities for my event I was hosting. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating when there were any questions. I will recommend staying here.

Though the staff and hotel was very nice, several vehicles were broken in to, including my car. At least 5 cars rear windows were busted. No values were taken. Because I had them with me. The police said it happens all the time. So, if you value your stuff, don’t go here.

I checked in the last week of February 2024, before check-in time, but the staff said, "We have a room ready." I was issued the swipe card to room 304. I swipe and enter the room only to observe an open, filled suitcase in the bedroom. I ran out and went to the desk. I informed the clerk that the room was occupied. The clerk apologized and said, "We will get you another room once one is available." A short time later, the clerk said we have a room available. I was issued the swipe card to room 117. I swipe and enter the room, only to see a laptop, tablet, and clothes. Again, I ran out and went to the desk. I informed the clerk that the room was occupied. The clerk had housekeeping check a third room. It was occupied. Finally, the fourth was not occupied. I did not feel safe. And I could have been hurt by the occupants. At check out, the clerk made a sarcastic comment regarding me telling my experience.

Upon entrance into the hotel building there were condiment packages scattered on the floor. The table tops in the lobby was covered in crumbs. That's okay, I figured, housekeeping can not be everywhere and it probably just happened. These items remained through out our stay. The climate control in the room was loud and ineffective. The room was chilly. The fold out couch's cushions were mismatched and did not fit. We had to request sheets for the fold out bed. We only recieved a top sheet. No cover. There were only enough towels in the room for one person. Three of us were staying. We had to request towels. There were several small items around the hotel itself and our room that just needed fixed or replaced. Simple things like missing molding, or the curtains being off track to bigger items like loose light switches and pulled up carpets.

I was here for a funeral and the staff, hotel conditions and manager are awful. Mold everywhere, rooms are not clean and disgusting and customer service is no where to be found. We had to leave early due to MOLD and so many other issues and they assured me I would be refunded promptly, nope still waiting a month later…..

Cannot recommend it. Though the reception staff was attentive, the spacious room was worn and the housekeeping was atrocious. Three nights and no housekeeping in my room. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and the Keurig coffee maker did not work, and had standing water and coffee grinds in the water receiver. I reported these immediately, but they were never addressed during my stay. The snacks and restaurants are highly overpriced, and the vending machines did not work. I did get my money back at the reception desk. If you do not have a car, the location is inconvenient to other restaurants, which are located about a mile away. The maintenance seems to be lacking as my colleagues also staying there had similar experiences. This is supposed to be a teaching hotel but I'm not sure that the lessons are sinking in. Certainly not emphasizing customer service.
