Plenty of restaurants, gas stations and stores nearby. Room was clean and comfy. Staff was friendly.

Simple solutions to improve client satisfaction!
Room maintenance for Room 205 at Brunswick was below par. Ceiling had a crack in it the width of the room. The tub grout was almost entirely gone and the faucet dripped continuously despite being turned off as far as was humanly possible. We appreciated the nite light in bathroom
We have traveled the country using Hampton Inns and this hotel was definitely the worst we’ve stayed in. The carpet in the halls is very unattractive and we felt looks cheap!
The breakfast was wonderful and the staff members were polite, courteous and professional!

Won’t be back, not sanitary
The hotel is older which is fine, the room however was not cleaned well. I don’t think the comforter has ever been cleaned as it had blood stains on one (that looked fresh) and snot?? On the other. The only thing keeping it you from touching the disgusting comforter is a thin sheet which is the only thing we used to sleep with. The carpets in the room were very sticky as well. Overall just not clean and up to the standard of other best westerns I’ve stayed in. Guests should never have to sleep with someone else’s bodily fluids on their blankets. We won’t be back.
A positive is the location felt safe and the breakfast buffet was nice. Front desk staff was friendly.

The hotel and property in itself is great. The area is conveniently located to restaurants but its that area that is dirty. Lots of trash on the roads into the hotel entry. Staff was very polite and helpful.

We stayed two nights and were pleasantly surprised that breakfast was not just the same repeat items. Some items were the same of course but there were a couple new selections each day.

Paid top dollar, broken toilet seat. Tried to switch rooms, second room had a bad smell. Pool was dirty, old band aids and particles floating in it. Area around the hotel is run down, stay away from the Panera Bread down the road.

Our only small issue was that the bathroom floor was kind of messy..including a contact someone lost from their eye ha. The pool was also dirty with debris and a bandaid. There were no pool towels stocked so I had to go out to the lobby to request them. The staff was very nice, the location was great. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in this style hotel. We would book again.

Some of the amenities were not there (ie hot tub had been boarded up). The phone didn't work and there was no vending machines to buy a snack or drink where the ice machine was.

Great Value with a Few Areas for Improvement
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, especially considering the reasonable price. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable visit. The breakfast was above average, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options—definitely a highlight!
That said, the hotel could benefit from some renovations. While everything was clean and functional, the furnishings and decor felt a bit dated, and some areas showed signs of wear. A refresh would elevate the overall experience.
For the price, though, it’s an excellent choice, and the outstanding service and breakfast make up for the need for updates. I’d happily stay here again!

This Hampton Inn was located very close to I95 exit and walkable to the Ale House restaurant. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not fluffy. Overall i would recommend the Hampton Inn in Brunswick.
