This hotel was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is quiet and off the beaten path, close to Beale Street, the riverfront, great barbecue, and plenty of dining. The front desk staff were responsive and helpful, with Aramis going above and beyond during check-in. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. Overall, clean/quiet rooms, great service, and a friendly staff made for a stress-free stay. Highly recommend for a quiet, family-friendly retreat near Memphis.

Hotel lobby undergoing renovation and a mess with no indication in app or on website. Assigned room 335, no air conditioning. Moved to room 108, foul odor. Staff at market area to simply get a coffee was unpleasant and inconsiderate. Advise to avoid.

The front desk receptionist made us wait 10 minutes while she was on the phone. Then she gave us incorrect directions on how to find our room (literally sent us in the wrong direction). There were no working ice machines on any of the three floors. When we asked at the front desk for ice, she did not seem inclined to help us, but another employee stepped up. The lighting in the room is terrible, i.e., placed oddly and unhelpfully. The bars of soap are literally an inch long and a half inch wide - about the size of a razor blade. There are cracks in the flooring everywhere and stains on the carpet. Will not stay here again.

Staff was friendly and helpful but ice machines were all broken, Bistro advertised as open but it wasn’t and continental breakfast consisted of cold bagels from refrigerator, cereal but no bowls, fruit tray bought from a grocery store, juice and coffee. Only 1 person working counter and he ran himself ragged going from back kitchen to counter with cold bagels and serving bowls for cereal. No yogurt, and milk was scarce.

The worst Marriott I have stayed at. All ice machines broken, trash bags left in the hallway all weekend. My room was not cleaned after the first day. Stayed 2 nights. My floor reeked of **** all weekend. My first room smelled like smoke so was able to get a new room.
