Our stay was quiet and service was friendly. Check in is prompt. We have been here twice in the past 4 months and each room was musty smelling and the carpet was perpetually slightly damp. All beds were creaky. Breakfast was nice.

The only thing I did not like was the coffee machine in the bathroom. I have never seen a coffeemaker in the bathroom with the toilet. Please move to another area in the room.

Very clean and quiet property. Maybe occupancy rate was low during our visit. Only one elevator here. That’s a rare sight in our experience. Garbage bags in Trash cans - nice hygienic touch. Comfortable, semi-firm mattress, not so great pillows - Fluffy and flat. Reasonable blackout curtain. Large shower. Decent shower head with multiple flow patterns, but flow rate could be better. Took a long time to soap up, then rinse off. Two very small soap shelves. More and larger would be nice. Especially for us shower-shavers. No power outlets on one side of the bed-nor on the wall on that side of the bed, what! It's age is showing. Microwave and fridge. TV. Carpeted floor. Call me old fashioned, but I still like carpeted floors. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast layout. Conditioner in the shower was empty. Ice bucket was broken. I reported that.

this should not be a Hilton. it is in very bad shape. it was dirty and had a lot of problems. The staff was not very friendly. The room had tears in the carpet chips in the cabinets. most things didn't work. had a odor to the room generally just not a good experience.

This is one of the nicest Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in for a long time. We stayed for 2 nights during the ice/snowstorm. We were stuck 35miles from the hotel on I-10 East for 5 hours due to an accident. We called ahead to let the hotel know we were still coming. Chasity was so understanding when we checked in at 1:30am. She made sure we had everything we needed. In the morning Lucy the hotel manager was quick to find out about road conditions for us & again whatever we needed. Lucy was doing front desk & breakfast by herself, because she was shorthand due to the weather. I have to say the breakfast was tasty, & hot which surprised me because anymore I need to always find a microwave if I want a hot breakfast. This hotel is a #10 . Very clean, carpets new, beds comfortable, towels are thick, bed linens feel new. Staying here felt like the Hampton Inns we used to stay in a few years ago when Hampton really cared about their hotel. Thank you Lucy for caring about your hotel & for all you & Chasity did for us. You definitely have the gift of hospitality, for you it’s not just a job & it shows.

My wife and I have stayed at both the Hampton Inn and nearby Holiday Inn. We prefer the Hampton as it’s cleaner, newer and nicer. Best hotel in Orange, TX.
