We stayed one night at this Hampton on the way back from N.C. The desk clerk was very nice and greeted us when we checked in, recognized us as Hilton Honors members and told us about the nightly snacks as well as breakfast times. She said we must of traveled far because we looked tired and wished us a good night. Very pleasant young lady and represented the Hilton Brand very well, unfortunately didn’t get her name. Room was nice and large, showed some wear but the bed was comfortable and that’s all I was concerned about. Bathroom wall paper was in bad condition and peeling off but the bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. We did go downstairs and took some pretty good chicken wings back to the room as a dinner/snack. In the morning when we checked out the same clerk was there, she just came on shift, and again she was very nice and asked us if we had a good stay. All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this Hampton Inn again!

Our room was clean and spacious, it included everything you might need including a desk, comfy chair and a sink. There were also lots of surfaces to put things on. Good choice of hot and cold items at breakfast. A better than average stay and worth the price.

I’m sure it was a nice hotel years ago but it’s very tired and worn out. Next door is a rent by week motel. We had adjoining rooms and 2 schnauzers. Front desk at check in was helpful. The morning clerk was clearly wishing she was somewhere else. Barely a smile while she was yawning. Hotel needs renovating desperately

This Hampton has been allowed to fall well below the brand standard you would expect from the chain. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and support the brand with over 100 stays each year - this is the first time I have ever checked out early due to lack of cleanliness. Every aspect of this property is worn and dirty. Stay elsewhere.

The lobby is nicely updated. Don’t be fooled. We arrived late in the evening to an empty front desk. Heard an annoyed scoffing sound coming from the breakfast area. An employee was watching TV and came around to the desk and asked my name without even so much as a “hello.” I was handed two inert key cards which required a return trip to the desk to be activated. The room itself was smelly and musty. I definitely would not recommend this hotel for lodgers with respiratory issues. There was a “mystery pillow” on one of the beds that looked unlike the others with a woven stripe case that could have been a previous lodger’s home pillow. The green wall paper in the bathroom was torn in places. The curtain rod was hanging from loose screws and only half the multiuser toiletry bottles were actually affixed to the shower wall. The other bottles were just randomly placed on the sink. The highway noise was pretty loud. This hotel gave me a weird vibe so I went to check and make sure our car was locked. I was shocked to find what was supposed to be a security door rigged with packing tape and a very large rock nearby presumably for propping. I wanted to check out but we were exhausted and it was late. Can’t comment on breakfast as we tore out of there in the morning as quickly as possible. Hilton properties are my go-to brand while traveling mainly for their price point and consistent cleanliness. I am astounded that they allow this property to operate under its name. They need a branch inspector in there ASAP, particularly for the unsettling safety issue of unsecured outer doors for a property on the I-75 corridor. I can’t believe they allow such a low-value, unsafe property in a state of disrepair to operate under the brand name.

During my stay at the Hampton Inn in Perry, GA, a BEDBUG was found in my bed about halfway through my stay. I t was actually crawling on the pillow as I was preparing my things for the following day. I immediately informed the front desk and departed the hotel early. I had to drive 40+ miles in the middle of the night (11:30 pm) to find another hotel that had availability. The next morning, I had to find a laundromat and launder my clothes as to not spread anything. Upon making contact with the Hilton Diamond Desk, who contacted the hotel directly, it was relayed to me that I would not be charged for my stay, the hotel management would contact me within 48 hrs., and there would be some type of compensation for my inconvenience. Here it is over 2 weeks later, and I still have not heard from the hotel. My credit card was charged for the stay, and this is unacceptable. I as the customer should not have to constantly be the one reaching out to resolve this. This is by far THE WORST customer service I have ever received. I contacted Hilton Honors desk again today and was told the hotel will contact me within 48 hrs. I feel Hilton has not been honest and upfront with me. This is unacceptable.

The staff were very pleasant and did their best to help. However, that is where the positives end with my stay over the last 4 days. We had 2 rooms, and below were the issues. 1. Had to move due to non- working toilet. 2. Had to move again because the door to the room would not open. 3. The other room set off the fire alarm when the heat was turned on. 4. The hair dryer only worked work a short period of time. 5. I confirmed that we were on the schedule for the rooms to be cleaned after the first night. However, when we returned our rooms had not been cleaned. The staff at the front desk stated that they planned to let the manager know, and they did provide a set of clean towels. 6. The garbage was left at the top of the stairs blocking the steps. I moved it off to the side, but it had not been picked up in a day. Overall this is a run down Hampton Inn and one that Hilton should review. As a Diamond member I have seen a lot of Hilton properties, and I do not plan to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel twice on our trip. Once going down to Florida and then coming back home. It was like we stayed at two different hotels. The room we had the first time was very neat and well maintained. We were extremely impressed. On the return trip we were on the opposite side of the hotel and the room needed some attention for sure. The sink and tub both drained slowly and the wall paper was peeling back in the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly. We did not eat breakfast either morning so I can't attest to the breakfast.

I have been a Hilton Honors member for several years. The Hilton name has always been synonymous with quality. Sadly, that was not the case with this hotel. At check in, the desk agent told us our room number, gave us our keys and went back to her iPhone. Perhaps I was wrong to expect a smile and hello? We were the only folks checking in. It wasn’t a busy time. Upon entering our room, a musty smell overwhelmed us. And as you can see from the pictures I’ve attached, the bathroom was really in need of some work. Wall paper was peeling, There was white substance smeared on the wall next to the sink. The area below the door knob was filthy. The sink cabinet showed excessive wear. On a positive note, the breakfast was quite good with the usual Hilton selections, and the woman handling it was quite pleasant. We didn’t use any of the other hotel amenities and can only speak to the condition of our room. Not what we expected from Hilton.

My family is a loyal Hampton Inn family. While traveling, we pick Hamptons whenever available. Out of the many, many that we have stayed at, this one ranks at the bottom. The air conditioning in the entire hotel seemed broken (stuffy, with fans running in the public areas) and our room smelled like a mildewy basement. The bedding was not the typical soft Hampton Inn sheets and comforter we are used to. We will definitely cross this one off our list whenever making the drive to/from Florida. Sorry Hampton, this one disappointed us.
