Why this place is great. Holiday Inn in Saraland is a phenomenal place for an overnight stay we had taken our annual trip to the Florida Keys for Lobster season opening. At the end of our lobster trip we drove 800+ miles to Saraland to spend the night on our way home. Our air-conditioning in our car had failed before we left the keys. Needless to say we were pretty exhausted by the time we were arrived at Saraland, Alabama. The Holiday Inn was magnificent. The mattress felt so comfortable. The pillows were perfect. They gave me a very relaxing overnight stay the manager Glenn was a great person and also was the staff. I highly recommend this place for an overnight stay or a business trip in the Mobile area. Kudos to the staff at this hotel.

Staff did a good job, however on my last day, housekeeping took my tip, but left the bed unmade. This was unacceptable. Complained to front desk.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Room has dated pull down blinds that do not move. Therefore, Cannot completely block out light not open a bit to get in light to our liking. Crumbs on the carpet. Soap ring and hairs in the shower. Have not had breakfast yet so I cannot rate that.

After a long day of driving, I was exhausted, but the staff made my check-in quick and easy. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. The room and the overall establishment were clean and welcoming. A great experience from the moment I arrived.

Food on the Hall Carpet
Because my stay here was brief (arrival after midnight and departure the next morning), my review will be as well. My room was on the front of the building and there was lots of traffic noise from a nearby highway. If I stay here again next year, I will ask for a quieter room away from traffic. Luckily I had a relatively noisy AC/heating unit that drowned out the traffic noise with its steady hum.
Staff was very helpful and my late arrival was not a problem. But as I was moving my belongings into my room on the 2nd floor. I passed one room with a food tray outside the door and with food from the tray spilling out onto the carpet. It looked like a pig sty and it made me wonder what kind of people were staying in that room. Why would they make no effort to clean up their mess? Some of the food was on the carpet elsewhere, away from that room. I found remnants of a Ritz cracker in front of my door (which was some distance down the hall) and picked them off the carpet with a Kleenex. I told the night clerk about the mess but I guess there was no other staff available to clean it up. It was still there the next morning so I was rolling my suitcases over food as I loaded up my car.
I hope this is not typical of the guests at this hotel. I stayed here overnight last year and did not experience issues with hallway cleanliness.

The staff at this property was nothing short of AMAZINGGGGGGGGG! The guests were friendly & my kids & I had a great time! Def will be booking for future overnight stays. Also, the two ladies that were at the desk when I checked in were 1000/10!!!!! We absolutely loved them!!!! I made a reservation that had to be cancelled last min on you guys end wayyyyy back in November & she REMEMBERED! She knew who we were & we had never even been there. Her customer service was exquisite!

Great place to stay
Was there on business with my husband so we got the Jacuzzi room. Everything was wonderful. After a hard day of travel and work, it was great to relax in the Jacuzzi tub.
The staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast crew was very helpful and timely with making sure fresh food was available.
