Night staff turned on the lights so I could go swimming as it was still pool hours. Also an extra feature I was not aware is that there was a nice place to sit and look at the small pond that was connected to my room.

Spiders, killed 2. Breakfast - guessing the quality is standard for a BW, but then I dont normally stay at a BW. We only chose this hotel bc it was a college fb weekend and this was the closest hotel (30 min away) we could find at a "reasonable" price. Some lightbulbs out. Door jam lock was broken. No maid service unless requested. Side door taped over, so dn require a key. The best part of the hotel was the scenery out the back window of a wooded creek...which was probably the source of the spiders, but it was pretty. Room coffee bad, but they had a kureg with Starbucks k cups in the lobby

Spacious lobby and room, friendly staff. Nothing fancy but no complaints. They do allow smoking in some of the rooms so if you are very sensitive to that, I would maybe reconsider. My room was non smoking but had a bit of a smoky smell.

I picked this hotel because of the pool and the continental breakfast because I had children with me. Upon arrival, we were not told at check-in that the pool had been shut down by the Health Dept. We soon found out that it had been shut down 10 days earlier and still was not up and running. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, and we had ants in our room and smoke detector was literally hanging off the ceiling by a wire. And on top of all this, the Wi-Fi was down as well.
